The room overlooked the Dona Elvira Plaza, two french window/doors opened to take in all of the charm. Sidewalk cafes right outside the hotel made things easy. The hotel was very clean, attended to and the staff was one of the most cheerful, attentive and personable we experienced in all of spain. They made it special for us. We stayed for a week and our room was so well cared for. We traveled to several cities and had three other experiences to compare this to. I would stay at this hotel again.

Location cannot be better, staff is friendly, design is fantastic. Booking of a junior suite is recommended, it absolutely serves its price: we were in Nr. 201, and room was spacious with a big terrasse above the Elvira Plaza from where you can see Sevilla's roofs and the orange trees...For dinner, don't go far: Restaurant Dona Elvira is a perf. It was one of the greatest hotels I ever stayed at. The location couldn't be better, the hotel is situated in Santa Cruz neighbourhood where guides take their groups. It's amazing you can not just do sightseeing but live in the area. It becomes quiet at night and in the morning the sounds of bells gently wake you. We tried two types of rooms here. The double room is great, but we couldn't book it for the second time and took the junior suite. I would highly recommend it, it is worth the differe. Very nice Hotel in a great location, The staff all spoke excellent English and were very helpful. The room we had was small but very nice and overlooked the square. You could hear guitar music in the evening outside, and general chit chat from people in the restaurant and smell orange blossom which was lovely. I guess if you go to bed early this might be a negative but for us it was brill. We had a wonderful stay in Seville and would definitely go back. Shabby chic boutique hotel on a lovely, historical plaza with orange trees and a fountain, where you can sit and have a drink and food. Perfect location for walking to all major attractions, and for bars/ restaurants - very close to Cathedral and Alcyzin. Staff very friendly and helpful. Small shop around the corner handy for water and snacks. Seville is a great city to visit - charming, historic, lots to do. Perefct! it was exactly what i was looking for. It is located close to the city centre, close to everything and next to the “plaza” what I would imagined to be the one of the most beautiful in Sevilla (or any other city). We also received welcome drinks and a discount at the restaurants in the plaza. The square can get a bit loud in the morning but we didn't come to Spain to hangout in the room and sleep. in fact it was a good living alarm clock. The goal is really to experience the life of Seville and having vibrant activity outside was not necessarily a problem, it was Seville and we were so perfectly located in the heart of the most beautiful part of the city, no question. Breakfast is in another restaurant, Rest. Santa Cruz: poor list of foods and drinks, so it is suggested to book a room without breakfast and then look for a cafe house and eat there. But I will choose this hotel next time too because it is really amazing and we had so good time there:-). I hate to advertise the hotel because it already has high rating and I'm afraid they can raise the price :). Very noisy during the night from street cleaners, bells etc - windows do nothing to shut out the noise; no English channels on the TV; room very small, but bathroom OK with good shower. The room was small and the coffee maker didn't work. The economic room we stayed was a bit small but we had a big terrace which is quite nice. The hotel needs to make clear its location - the directions were not all that! Our room was exceptionally small and the bed was very small as a result, making it a hot and uncomfortable night for sleeping. Visitors might want to ask for any room other than 101!. Lack of a wardrobe in the room. The corner shelves with a few hangers are insufficient. We had our luggage on the floor, and lived out of it. Our Jr Suite had a balcony, but we could not use it, or even open the doors, because the drain on the balcony had a terrible stench, like sewage and rotten garbage. This has to be fixed!. the plaza is quite and nice, but cant reached by taxi so we have to carry 2 big luggage walking for 5 mins on stone road... Breakfast in restaurant around corner was very average - waiters rather indifferent and the food just ok small square, while charming could be very busy and rather noisy. There was no wardrobe or chest of drawers, only 6 hangers and 2 small shelves, so most of our clothes had to remain in the suitcase. Could be a little noisy when the windows are open since the hotel faces a nice little plaza, but that is also part of the charm of the hotel and its location. Screen door can be easily open when locked. quite difficult to find the hotel. have to carry the luggage to walk to the hotel because it is in the pedestrian area. Noisy in the mornings. nothing. Terrible breakfast (little choice with no fruit) Very small toom with loud air conditioning. I prefer more clean floor :). No refrigerator in the room. Mediocre breakfast.
