We really enjoyed the stay in a hotel. The location is convenient(near the train station, near the cafes and bars on embankment ),hotel design is modern, rooms are clean and spacious, staff veryfriendly and helpful. Very helpful staff, good to have English speakers on site. Great location, minutes walk to seaside prom, and best drinking areas. Newly renovated, stylish. Motorcycle parking on street outside, secure public parking nearby. all reviews »
Staff, Comfort, location. conveniently placed. comfort. We were able to check in earlier than most other hotels ie at 12. noon.we arrived earlier at 10.30 and a room was given to us straight away as it was empty.This was very helpful after night travelling.Nothing to complain on.We just decided that the price for breakfast is abit too high. So, we were happy to attend to the nearest bar and enjoyedlocal food on our way to the beaches. The general smell of the drains in the bathrooms which we were told is a Santander problem.The door banging in the cleaners room next to our bedroom.No air conditioning in the rooms. seemed more geared to buisnessmen.I was travelling as single female with my daughter and it didn´t seem that family orientated, bar area very small.Female staff however, very helpful.Shower cubicle leaked water onto floor as shower divider was not long enough to stop water leaking out.

From the East:
(Hendaya-Bilbao Highway). Arriving to Santander continue the " Maritime Station " indications and managing to turn to the left side for the Isabel II Street. In this street the first one to the left side is Calderón de la Barca where one finds our establishment.
From the South:
In Burgos take the N- 23 up to Aguilar de Campó, Reinosa and Torrelavega. In Torrelavega take the railcar again up to Santander. Arriving to Santander continue the " City Center " indications up to the town hall to take the Lealtad street to the right up to Calderón de la Barca where one finds our establishment.
From the West:
Take the railcar between Oviedo and Torrelavega.
