The hotel has the most amazing position overlooking the gorge and benefits from both morning and afternoon sunshine, which many hotels do not. It is very 'central' for both the old and new town of Ronda. The garage facility, although not free, was a bonus and fairly close by. Breakfast was more than adequate with ample supplies of everything. We ate on the terrace each day. We ate dinner for 3 nights in the restaurant and all choices were good. We had an extremely enjoyable time at 'Don Migu.

We were well looked after by the entire staff .Our room was well maintained with a fabulous view. Breakfast was quite extensive with respect to quantity and variety of items and having it on the adjoining restaurant's patio overlooking the gorge was a unique start to our mornings and something we'll always remember. We would highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay . The location is as good as you can get in Ronda. All the rooms face the gorge and the views from the rooms are unbelievable. You look right out over the gorge and to the bridge above....a perfect location. The breakfast is located on the terrace below the bridge: perfect views, although breakfast was basic. Ronda is lovely location for a couple of days and this hotel suited our needs and budget perfectly. Fantastic location, we went out walked around and found the room window is the best location for taking picture of the bridge. Do book the room with views! Has private parking, very nice! Bar, restaurant have the best view and looks very nice! The hotel is really beautiful! The dish of their restaurant is the best we've ever had in Spain. The hotel is in a fantastic location on the edge of the gorge. The staff were very helpful and there were parking facilities just down the road. As has been mentioned in other reviews, it is a bit complicated to get from reception to the rooms and from the rooms to the restaurant due to the way the hotel is configured. Once you understand that and realize that you will go the wrong way more than once, it is all part of the fun of traveling. The restaurant was not very welcoming although the food was good. The lady in charge of the restaurant seemed more interested in the phone than dealing with diners. The waiters however were polite and efficient. We have no criticism at all of the hotel. Mild inconvenience of quirky levels in hotel, with two lifts to descend then ascend to our room. Stairs also available. Staffs needs improvements. Nothing. If you don't ask for parking in the hotel garage, which has only a few slots, parking can be a bit - or more - of a challenge. The hotel is a sprawling, older building. Parking is very tricky. A little renovation keeping the hotel's character would be good. Breakfast is on the "poor" side. The furniture is a bit old, with covers on the bed sheets which are not being cleaned for every new guest - but ok for 3* standards. cafeteria was not open as stated by your staff , also restraunt did not appear open ,locat. Getting out of town by car was horrific with no signage and major construction going on. There is no blanket, just seat. Bed covers appear grubby. Laminate floor broken up in places. Anxious about fire escape route in below street level room (103) I would have liked an external safety rail if staying with children because the cill is quite low and the gorge very deep!. The breakfast was really good , 08.30 until 10.00, but your down later than 9.15 , it can be frustrating that they do seem to be a lttle laxed in refreshing the breakfast the food. The photos don't do it justice, it is much nicer. The rooms were a little basic but clean. none. air conditioning not working in the part of the hotel where we were staying. Had to really insist before we were given a room where it worked. Lack of cleanliness of terrace with the perfect location. no on-site parking. leaving. The third bed in the triple room was really just a rollaway bed - squeaky and not very comfortable. Also, the room smelled of sewage - we left the windows open, which made it pretty chilly at night!. no air-conditioner,very cold at night. The blanket was damp. Small bed. The breakfast soon ran out of bacon and egg, staff very slow in topping them up. Nothing to dislike. the public areas and bedrooms were not air conditioned properly. Long corridors and frequent use of elevators.
