I stayed at the Troya with a friend and we both loved it. in actual fact there is absolutely nothing negative either of us could say and have already recommended it to friends and family. We liked everything: convenient location, helpful staff, nice food, entertainment.good location, friendly helpful staff , very comfortable. closness to beach, everything abut hotel,.

The location of the hotel was great, with a great beach just on the doorstop but far enough away from the noise of the Veronica's nightclubs. Also, the hotel is located literally across the road from the beach.Food, the beach in front of the hotel. bed a bit hard for me!. When we arrive in the room the floor was not so clean. rooms are not soundproof, room was cleaned every day but just the mayor things no details.Could be more fresh fruit at breakfast time. Maybe the beds. No free internet. There are no Wi-Fi internet. the hotel was about 100/200mtrs from a very very loud disco tech that boomed out till 4.30/5.00am we didn't get a good nights sleep the whole holiday. internet/wireless should be available in 2008 !!!. Ladys from reception were unprofessional and unpleasant. You can check your emails for 1.50 Euro for 10 minutes. In a hotel like this I belive the internet service should be complimentary. But everithing else was really good.no i found it good, it was my 2nd time there. The room was very noisy because of night entertainment.There was not possible to sleep untill 2-3 o'clock in the morning.they did not have the warm-up children pool. Rooms need to be sound proofed and beds not very comfortable. grating furniture on floors. The 'hot' breakfasts werent very hot. It was very noisy, because of late programs inside and outside the hotel. Beds were uncomfortable, matresses too soft, felt joints pain in the morning. The hotel is nice, rooms should improve. We had to pay for internet. The food was pretty awful and we would not recommend booking half board accommodation. They served the same dull thing every night and it was tasteless and cold. Some of the staff (especially at the pool bar) were very rude and purposely took to long to serve you. The bed was very uncomfortable and the rooms quite basic. I would not call this hotel a 4 star (more like a 3 or 3.5). Sound insulation is very poor, could hear people talking in other rooms as well as animation at the adjacent hotel. Room facilities are not great for a 4-star hotel: no tea/coffe making facility, no mini-bar, no refrigerator, no phone directory/instructions.didn't seem a 4 star hotel. facilities in the room and cleanliness oh my room.

- Take the highway heading south.
- When you reach the Playa de las Américas exit, turn right.
- When you reach the 1st roundabout, turn right.
- At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit.
- Follow the road until you reach the 1st crossroads - turn right here.
- At the next crossroads turn right again onto Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina.
- Follow this road for 70 metres until you reach the hotel entrance, just after a taxi stand.

Alternatively, take a taxi which would cost about EUR 20-25.
