This hotel is quite a find. It's right in the old part of Palma de Mallorca, surrounded by good bars and restaurants, a short walk to the cathedral, a similarly short walk to smart shops, and handy to the yacht marina. The rooms are clean, comfortably furnished and not at all cramped. The staff are quite outstanding: friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and full of good advice. All seem to speak good English. Palau Sa Font is medium-priced rather than cheap, but with facilities like a small swimm.

Location Bed. Nothing to dislike, really. Don't be put off when you arrive by the entrance in a narrow alley. The hotel is much smarter than its exterior would suggest. No hot water on either evening when a shower would have been good. Think it more 3 star, rather than 4 star. Extra pillow would have been good for support when reading in bed. I understand environmental concerns, but I think a shower cap is expected and not excessive. Very small TV at far end of room which is OK for news, but not for watching anything else - you'd need binoculars!. Bathroom needs a bit of renovation. The room was a little basic. my single room a bit small (but perfectly formed). Very minor query re regularity and thoroughness of room servicing. Nothing. because is located in the old town with narrow streets gets very noisy when people walks, talk and sometimes shouts. it is expensive: nothing special - the room is simple, the breakfast is simple and so on... price should be closer to 100 Euro, however we paid 165 Euro just to overnight. Old & Tired Expensive in comparison to other nearby hotels (Puro was the same price and much nicer rooms/decor etc) It isn't luxury it is basic.
