We arrived late at night (after 10) but still given a warm welcome. The apartment was spotless with good facilities. Great to have free WiFi access to keep in touch with business. The location was excellent being so close to the beach, the children loved it, also the ease of getting into Bilbao makes it a great location for coast and city. The situation of the hotel overlooking the bay.

Information about the area

The apartments are located next to the beach of Laidatxu, having one of the most beautiful sights of Urdaibai.From the cliffs and beaches to the forests and rivers going through the swamps, the Reserve of Urdaibai constitutes the most important wetland in Euskadi, comprising the greatest landscape and ecological diversity of the Basque Country.

Close to the mountain and the sea, Mundaka offers the possibility of practising sports like surf windsurf, treeking, mountainbike, paintball ... This picturesque village is worldwide known for its spectacular “left waves”. In fact is the seat of one trial of the ASP’s world surfing contest.

We are 40kms from Bilbao (Gugenheim Museum), 25 kms from Loiu airport, 90kms from San Sebastian and 95 kms from Vitoria.
