The peaceful, friendly Hotel Carpe Diem is set just 500 metres off the beaches of one of Spain’s most beautiful coastlines – the Costa Dorada.
Located 30 km south of Tarragona, the local coastline is characterised by small, tree-lined coves which are visible from your room’s own balcony. After a day on the beach, you can return to enjoy the international dishes cooked up in the hotel’s jazz-themed restaurant or to simply take in the historic building and the natural surroundings. The hotel is set in a traditional, renovated stone building with its own tower.

We have stayed in many hotels for various holidays and events and can honestly say have never felt so welcome and so at home as we did at the Hotel Carpe Diem. We made the booking last minute but were not disappointed. Both Inga and Peter (owners) went out of their way to help us feel welcome including help with planning day trips etc. A great place for a relaxing break. The owners and staff are very nice and helpful. Food was excellent! A good base to explore the area.all reviews »
Inga, the hotel owner was incredibly friendly and helpfull. She spoke perfect english and made lovely sangria:) The resteaurant has a beutiful design and the hotel is 5min from the beach. All the rooms have got balconies and air conditioning is a bless:) I definitey recommend!. The staff was super nice and friendly, and very very helpful.The owners were very friendly and helpful. Amazing building with many special features.Food very good. local to amenities, beach, selection of restaurants etc very helpful owners,relaxed informal atmosphere.Staff (perfect English), balcony in our room and location (5 min to thebeach though u need to pass quite dangerous railway). no spanish dishes on the menu and breakfast was very very basic - that's my only moan!. I had a little trouble with directions. Location not too great. Have to cross very busy road and railwayline to get to beach.Bathroom was very poor, breakfast very basic.
