Outstanding combination of design styles, service, comfort and facilities at a decent price. Extremely pleasant SPA, swimming pool, hammam and gym. Also nice location not far from the center of Madrid and the Airport. Breakfast, bar and restaurant are among the best in Madrid for a reasonnable price. Great for leisure trip and for business trip (esp. nice service and WiFi access). I travel constantly for business, so it was a pleasure to stay in a hotel that is so complelety different and actually an expereince rather than just another hotel room. The rooms are spectacular and the staff are all fantastic. We had 7 star service from everyone and a wondeful stay from the minute we arrived. I have alreay recommended it to freinds and business colleagues.

From check-in to checkout, the entire staff were so friendly, helpful and extra kind to our little boy, very refreshing! We will certainly use this hotel again. The building itself is a true piece of art. Very close placed to the Metro station, two-three mintues walking.It has good design and good facilities. It is in half location between the airport and downtown. The Hotel was very nice, being a designer I was very impressed with the quality of the hotel.Very different hotel. The Silence is an unknow word there and i really didn't manage to have a quite sleep at any time.. Also the concept of having a free acesse WC within the room also was not a strong point.. I was alone so problem, but if i was with my girlfriend would not really like her to me there.. This is really a design hotel where you can find different theme from various designers on each floor. I was so excited when I got there and I spent 2 hours touring around each floors. Please note that the view from the top floor lounge is beautiful. Have fun with the glass floor balcony there.It is a nice looking hotel, though not as nice as the website portrays, attention to detail not great. Perhpas an outdoor pool even if small would be nice.It was out of the centre of Madrid. The spa is a disgrace. They advertise that there is a spa and availablebeauty treatments. There is not one beauty treatment available. I woulddescribe the hotel's spa as a room with a tiny swimming pool and a steamroom. This is hardly a spa.Drinks at the bar to expensive. I beleive charging 25 euro/person for breakfast is unreasonable. Prices for food/drinks, small gym. Breakfast was not included in the rate and it was very expensive.The main restaurant was not open at all. Quite period in Madrid. The food was not that nice also it was far to expensive 12 euro for aglass of coke and a glass of sprite!! The room service staff had littleor no English and therefore were not that plesant!!! To change rooms itcosts 60 euro and the smell on the 2nd floor is horrible!!. rooms not easy to move around in, lack of english tv channels. Bar staff. location was not the best. I have to give them credit 4 all the food and dring services. The in-room facility has good "designer" outlook but inconvenient to use.Don't go to this hotel unless you speak fluent spanish, it was my wife's birthday and they completely messed up on arranging breakfast in bed, what made me even more furious is the fact that they didn't even attempt to make amends for their incompetence. In addition the maid service barging into your room at 8.30am each morning, one knock and in they come....Nice hotel, poorly trained staff.

The hotels Lagrimas Negras restaurant was styled by the French designer Christian Liaigre and is run by the well-known chef José Luis Estevan. The cuisine is based on traditional Spanish dishes with an original, creative and stylish twist. The restaurant also offers an extensive list of over 750 wines, recommended by the wine steward Juan Antonio Herrero, who in 2006 was awarded with best Sommelier in Spain at Madrid Fusion, an international summit of gastronomy. Designed by the famous French architect Jean Nouvel, the Sky Night Bar is located on the top floor of the hotel and is the ideal spot for enjoying a drink whilst admiring stunning panoramic views over Madrid. There is also the Marmo Bar which is located on the ground floor, featuring the Carrara marble bar created by celebrated furniture designer Mark Newson.
