Had to walk about 250 metres with luggage uphill to the recommended car park - vehicular access was possible through the crowded areas near the hotel, some taxis did it but I didn't see any cars.I did not like the bunkbeds in the family room, they are not safe,theyhave No safty bar so you could easy fall off.also the rooms are a bitsmall for 4 people if you are with friends that like a drink the topbunk is not ideal.it would not be safefor a young child eider,3 peoplein my room was fine,But we had friends in other rooms that were far tosmall for 4 people. Hotel is undergoing renovation. Reception area very unimpressive, dark and small. Lift very old fashioned. Brealfast location - served in attic area due to renovations - was not very good. A lot of noise in hotel from other rooms throughout night. This was not due to builders.My room was quite small !. No air conditioning for 2 out of the 3 nights, but staff gave us a discount at the end of our stay.Looby was not impressive. there was a lot of noise from the street. the bed was extremely uncomfortable. one night during my stay there were loud explosive-like noises for 30-40min at 3am. also in the morning, cleaning ladies make a lot of noise if cleaning nearby rooms. the hydro-massage shower is nothing special and should not be a reason for staying at the hotel. it is basically like a normal shower.The hotel should have TV channels in English, French and German, not just in Spanish. Very noisy as its a busy main street, rooms very small and the air conditioning very poor. Upstairs lounge has been removed. if tehre is something which we can complain about, is that the cleaning service could be more precise in their responsabilities. Room was minimum size for hotel *** category except for generous bathroom. However, if you leave the windows open at night - because it gets warm in the room - it is very noise. You get to hear lots of shouting and screaming by party goers. Otherwise, its perfect.No porter service then only english speaking channel was cnn!! Feelthere should be a few more channels in english.
