Front desk staff where excellent. Very informative, friendly, helpful Nespresso in room - great Breakfast - delisious and good value Location was suberb Tapas bar - wonderful (tortilla in a glass was awesome). The junior suite was a nice and clean suite, as you would expect. The location of the hotel is great aswel. The staff is friendly and ready for you when needed, especially the valet ( Daniel in our case ).

The tapas we ordered from the room service were not warm at all, when being described as such. So that might be something you wouldn't want to do, order food. But it's close to all sorts of squares, so get your food from there :). -Small bathroom in our room. 5th floor "superior" room only had "Velux" type roof window and no real views. The free internet was terribly slow, making it painful to email photos and impossible to use VOIP. The bed was a bit hard and it would have been nice to have a bath as well as a shower. the colour of the dining room was a dull grey. There should be airport shuttle. Rooms could have been bigger. i am small but it felt suffocating. Terrible Internet. Nothing. small rooms. Perhaps a British newspaper?. Sheets were not changed for two nights. Nothing. Nothing, everything about the hotel is perfect. Standard pillows; only one bottle of complimentary water / stay; Massage Service operating hours. nothing. All was good. The free high-speed internet is only 256 kbit/s with a limit of 100 MB download per key. This is just ridiculous in 2013! Sometimes when the A/C was not running we could smell cold smoke in our room coming from the A/C. Obviously smoking is still allowed in this hotel :( There are a couple of small things about the staff and their work that should not happen for a luxury 5 star hotel. expensive breakfast. extravagantly expensive breakfast!; we did enjoy a very cheap but excellent one in calle atocha next door!. The breakfast was expensive. Nothing. The internet connection & there is no GYM. Poor breakfast It seem not a 5stars breakfast. Wi-fi is free but only for reading e-mails and facebook. It's impossible to watch somewhat from Youtube or download something. Even after you pay add 6.7 eur you're unable to do it. Breakfast was over priced but a convenience. Junior Suite stairs were a little dangerous at night not having a bath upstairs. We needed to be forewarned more about the thieves on the street. The lighting in the bathroom. And there was no room for clothes in our room (420). Internet Connection (Slow, just WiFi, limited Data Package). The room size is small. The room we had was on the top floor with a sloping roof and just a skylight window. This made the room a but dark. Nothing at all. Internet connection poor. nothing. The noise - it ver noisy and you just can sleep. Also the WiFi was horrible. Very overpriced for what we got, very high room rates but standard hotel rooms. Internet was a nightmare to manage, having to change passwords all the time and as for extra access.
