Brilliant location - right in front of the train station, direct to Barajas, at the same time close to all sightseeing, easy walkable distance and away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist places. Our room was overlooking the Royal Palace. Beds are comfortable enough, very nice décor in the room, big bathroom. Fantastic value for money. The hotel was right in front of metro station Principe Pio, so it was easy to reach to. Scenery from 6th floor was very good looking towards Casa de Campo park. Room was nice and tidy and the bed was ok to sleep. Some small restaurants are nearby and the old centrum incl. The Royal Palace are not too far away by foot.

Convenient to the Casa de Campo convention centre and plenty of restaurants nearby for cheap breakfast. Directly opposite principe pio station so easy to get into the centre. Madfor is a good hotel in terms of its location. Its bang opposite metro station prinicipe pio. From prinipe pio, u can also catch a few long distance trains other than a metro. The station has a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, etcc The Hotel staff is excellent, very helpful. Overall a good budjet hotel. Beautiful hotel, very very clean, great location (across from train + metro station), no noise, very enthousiastic and friendly staff, possibility to leave things in locker for 1/last day, modern decoration, airco, ... We liked the location.It is very close to a mall and metro Principe Pio so easy access to everywhere. Wonderful access to Casa Campo where you can go for a bike ride. Also walking distance to Atletico Madrid Stadium. Room was clean, modern and enough room to fit in a cot (which was provided free of charge). Unlike the first impression, which is not too favorable, the hotel offers some nice facilities like: -wifi running perfectly in the rooms -tv with a lot of (and English) channels -a large balcony in each room, perfect for smokers. The location is good for the tourists, about 10 min walking from the palace and the cathedral. We caught quite a cold night in Madrid and I got a bit cold the other night, so asked for extra blanket. That surprised reception, as they could not get me any, explaining that we have heating on. Also, the reception was nice, but not much welcoming or helpful - what to see in the city or other asks. You can hear all sounds like talking and lights been switched in neighbouring rooms. And the room doors bang loudly shut. Heat in room is not adjustable for me its too hot. My room was on the main road and some noise from the street comes in. breakfast only till 10.30, so not good if you're up all night and want to sleep very late :). It seems that there was no balance in the temperature of the room. It was mostly hot. No options other than having your clothes washed by the hotel. Terrible wifi, no fridge in room - difficult especially for travelling infants. They did allow us to use staff fridge, but took a bit, and then a wait everytime to get things out of it. As with most Spanish places, no kettle-a share coffee machine, but have to buy the pod from them -advertised on their website as free. The room was narrow while it needs at least a regular chair...Any time I wanted to use that drawer-furniture as a desk, I had to pull that furniture close to bed... Thank you!. Wifi for only 1 device at a time. First room I had was next to noisy neighbors and I could hear through wall. There was a smell in the room that (I think) was coming from the toilet but after opening the balcony door for a few minutes, it was not bothering. Internet connection sucks big time. Not very soundproof. Some walls in rooms seemed a bit thin. The elevator (lift) broke down one day (but it was repaired by evening). could have benefited from bar.restraunt,but would not deter us from stopping there again. No fridge or kettle in room. The curtain cannot fully prevent from light. No break fast. Cigarette smoke from other guests and could here other guests coming and going at all hours. poor soundproofing between bedrooms. no fridge in the rooms. noisy, smell in the bathroom, slow wifi in my room. Nothing. Musty odor from the extraction in the badroom. Breakfast Room Twin instead of Double Room. Nothing except maybe hard to find the first time. We got room on first floor with no view. The lifts were a little noisy so any room close to them were disturbed by this. Wifi was not working properly, had to insist 3 times to get it done. Even if the terrace is quite small the hotel should put at least two chairs and a small table on it. Too expansive for the conditions offered. The final price was bigger due to another 21% tax, which was a surprise. You can here almost everything from the room beside you. The rooms are very small and the bed is put just near the wall. A normal man may have difficulties in using the tiny shower. The furniture is very basic. There are often queues at the elevators. a very noisy hotel! didnt sleep at all. terrible! dont go there!. The bathroom was poorly ventilated and smelled of mildew. There is green all around the hotel but my view was barely above a wall. The pictures of the rooms were 1,000 times better than the room itself. I stayed somewhere far better for 10 Euros a night less 2 months prior.
