The room was very clean and the staff very accommodating. Great location too!. Friendly and helpfull staff. Very clean rooms. Great location. Will be back.Very nice and helpful personnel. The location was perfect, Gran Via is the main street in Madrid. Locatedright next to Metro station, 10 min walk to Palacio Real, Plaza Mayorand Puerta del Sol. Starbucks near by too!. saw guernica and went to the prada museum. staff were so helpful and pleasant. Felt like we got much for the money. Clean room and nice breakfast for a very good price. I can gladly recomed this hotel for anyone who want to stay cheep and nice in this town. We liked the staff and the cleanliness of the room. It was actually very good value for the money.Location, airport shuttle, helpful staff. Staff very nice. good location,. Attendant was courteous and responsive to our needs, especially as we arrived very late.The room was clean. central location. Excellent position, within waking distance from all major objectives. Night porter wasn't very attentive and fell asleep. I had to wait nearly15 mins to get back into the hotel at 2am.no. Everything was great except that the bathroom is a little small.the bed was a bit hard. the only thing I could say that I didn't like about the hotel was that noises from anything and everything could be heard through the walls. I heard the person next to me taking a shower and the lobby vacuum cleaner and reception desk.Acoustics in room were bad. Felt like if I sneezed the entire floorwould here me. Only one staff member spoke English. Transportationfrom hotel to airport only, but you must tell them in advance. I triedto arrange it with someone who didn't speak English, hopeless, didn'tget the ride. Noisy, could hear everybody coming in at night. Internet could be free of charge.Noisy, very hard to sleep!!. Our air conditioner was broken. If we opened the window the street was very noisy.It was really noisy if you opened the window for fresh air, but that's a tradeoff for price. We really got hammered with the euro value in Spain. I didn't like the fact that the night staff failed to give me a very important wake up call, which almost resulted in my mmissing my plane. No view in my room was an issue. as well.The heat was turned on only during the first night out of three. There is no phonic isolation between the rooms, however the noise from outside cannot be heard.
