Great location, just two blocks away from "Puerta del sol" and "Plaza mayor". Clean rooms and bathroom at a great price. Public parking is just 1/2 a block away. It's a great base location to walk around Madrid. Senora Remedios and Mr Vicente are the very friendly couple that runs the place. I recommend it hands down. The owners are very nice people, you can go in and out of the hostel with no problems. The location is perfect, you are really near of Puerta del Sol, metro station, near the center! Very clean hostel, private bathroom, lcd if you want to watch some spanish television. 5 stars really.

Great hotel in a fantastic location, surrounded by a huge choice of restaurants and bars. Walkable to key Madrid sights, and close to Metro to get to/from the airport. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I have stayed twice at this hotel because it's super easy to reach. The location is great and the people who manage it (I think it's a family) are super nice. It's clean and we could say the bed is comfy. Everythig was fine. The hostal can be found in the city center. The owners are very helpful, the room is equipped and clean. The internet connection is better than in many four start hotels!!!. very clean, towels changed everyday. very pleasant owner. She has no english but still we could understand each other:) rooms small but that wasn't any problem for us. Location is brilliant. Great location, clean hostel and good value for money. It's on a street full of restaurants and clubs, great if you enjoy a lively atmosphere and you don't mind music or noise. It was really close to the center. The personnel was kind and friendly. I had already read in the forums about it so I was quite untroubled about it. But... The owner was hands on, helpful. Very easy to find. Staff were thoughtful and friendly, and the room was good. easy to get here - in city centre 24 hours check-in. The room and hallway was very dark, even in the middle of the day. No kettle or hair dryer. The rooms are always small but this time it was just way too small although I could manage to stay comfortable in it. The bathroom is super small. i wouldnt recommend breakfast. Breakfast is served around the corner in the bar. if you can take room only option go for it cause there is many other places around that offers better for less:). When I arrived at the hostel they took me to another one without informing me beforehand (and the reason was humidity in the room which was too silly to believe). I tell you that the other hostel is also run by the same family and it was nice, but I didn't like the fait accompli! And I dont know if they have rooms which don't see the street but mine was was too noisy to sleep at night. Nothing. Some guests were a bit noisy, as they talked in the corridors (and you could hear it from the room); Apart from that, the room was very quiet, although it is possible not the case, for rooms facing the street;. The staff was not very friendly nor welcoming. Couldn't get the shutter to go down after raising it!. noisy street.
