Location is absolutely fantastic; Hotel food was varied and well cooked; Excellent and helpful staff For the best deal book half board and superior room to give access to pool and sea. Listen to excellent advice from staff ie arrive for dinner at 7.30/7.35 and nine times out of ten get a window table etc. Very picturesque harbor and classy resort which maybe a little too quiet for some. This was our third visit and we would certainly book again. We stayed in a self catering apartment and not in the hotel itself.
all reviews » I have been to mogan for the past 8 years and try to stay in the apartament all the time .they are all so helpful .I have a bad leg so if I can get a floor apartament it is good for me. We had a very enjoyable stay. The location and condition of the apartment was good benefiting from the view from the roof terrace. Location was excellent as were staff. Apartment cleaned regularly. Great pool with all day bar/food and jacuzzis right next door. Nice apartment in beautiful part of Puerto Mogán. Make sure you book a superior apartment, so you can use the hotel pool. Lovely hotel, nice roomy apartments, good food, very friendly and helpful staff in the hotel. The apartment facilities were excellent, the location was just a short stroll from the Hotel. The location of the apartments to the beach, town and marina is very good. Use of the hotel pool when booking superior apartments is well worth it. Staff on hotel reception were very helpful. I had to move apartament .it was to far up the Puerto. and when I was in apartament in may 2013 had to move as well but they help me both times .I am going back next year. Would of been nice, as self-caterers, to have had a microwave or toaster in our room. We paid for a superior apartment as other reviews had said the apartment pool was awful. We could have stuck with the budget one as the pool area had since been renovated and is lovely. Most apartments don't have a harbor view. But that's no problem, because the rest of the "neighbourhood" is also very nice. Parking is difficult, especially from late Thursday and all day Friday when the market is on. TV reception in the apartments is ropey, and only non-Spanish reception is in German. Would have preferred a double bed. no internet-connection. the pool area was disappointing too quiet at night. We booked superior appartment for '3 adults'. Whilst the aooartment was lovely, one of the adults had to sleep on a sofa bed, which was not made clear on the website. The superior apartment we had was not sufficiently equipped and beds were very hard. Not even a proper coffee maker or toaster in kitchen area and very limited cutlery. Alot of noise from maids and gardeners early in morning moving karts along narrow pathways to laundry. Best apartments to book are 270,271,272,277 and 278 but none have sea or harbour views from balconies. One day, they didn't clean the room and we didn't get fresh towels. The wifi reception was very bad. This is not a very good place to stay if you are a young cople, it's more of a familyhotel. some apts very close to street re terrace and security people like a nice view especially on holiday. No sunbeds available round the pool sauce people were leaving towels n them all day and not using them.
