Please note that both the roads leading to La Reserva and El Torin are mainly unsurfaced until you reach the houses. The longer easiest route is via Nerja town centre, around 15 minutes' drive. The quickest route is from the MA 5105 (Nerja-Frigiliana) from Molineta towards the river on a steep with sharp curves. The river crossing is a shallow ford in winter but in summer is completely dry. This route takes around 5 minutes by car and caution is advised.
