Though bit pricy its really an amazing spot and hotel. Awesome building, great spacious rooms, good staff. Gourmet restaurant was closed during our stay but the bistro was excellent too. Beautiful terrace to watch the sunset, have to visit the winery too and go for a walk/ cycle around the vineyards. Very nice place. The service was incredible, the staff very helpful and ready to do whatever needed. But the architecture is transformative! My husband is a retired architect and staying here was a remembering of himself, enlivening. We only wish we had known how wonderful the experience would be and we would have stayed longer.

We ate on the terrace of the bistro (gourmet resto was full) and it was very good indeed - even the breakfast which was exceptional especially the butter from Soria!. Nothing about the hotel, but I had my new m-b cls washed and parked after a 600 mile drive, unfortunately the valet crashed my car into a barrier when parking. Hotel were helpful in sorting there insurance. I think that is much better to visit this place from April to November both included.0. A tad pricey. my trip was too short. The bed was way too soft, but that is a matter of opinion. Very expensive!. Rooms need to be "refreshed". Main restaurant not open on a Monday or Tuesday and Bistro left a little to be desired. Air conditioning in rooms not very good and couldn't get the room cool enough. Service (being kept waiting for almost everything: check-in, a question, bellboy....etc.) Entrance --- really hard to find the gate even if you have seen the building from faraway. check-in very slow,, not very friendly service, had to turn on A/C to breath, steam room didn't work and was only fixed after 30min.

Travelling information

By Car from Bilbao Airport:
-Upon exiting the airport follow signs for Barakaldo / Bilbo / Bilbao/ Santander and then the N-637 Autopista Solucion Sur.
-Merge with the A-8 Autovia del Cantabrico and then keep right so you can merge with the AP-68.
-Continue along the AP-68 until exit 10 when you can merge onto the N-232 towards Cenicero / Najera and then turn left onto the LR-211.
-Then turn right towards Carretera de la Estacion and continue straight until the road becomes A-3210 and you will soon find the hotel.
