Lovely, newly-kitted out, boutique-style hotel. Spotlessly clean and very stylish. 10 mins’ walk from main square/historic area. Staff lovely – friendly and, in particular, the receptionist was a credit to his profession. I had a room with an enormous bed and unexpected balcony, and there is on-street parking all around. Beautifully- appointed bathroom with white fluffy towels, but could only have been designed by a man as a bidet is positioned at the exact point where you need to stand to dry .
all reviews » Great hotel with superb staff and owners. Refreshing modern design, spacious and spotless clean rooms. The restaurant, El Duke, served delicious food, the best we had in Spain so far. You must try the fried eggplant and the goat cheese pastries, they're wonderful! The attentive staff will do everything to comfort you, they even bought a Peppa Pig for our daughter as a present! Not really any negatives, but Ecija is short on signage (and street names) so getting to hotel requires gps or town map. Hotel is – stylishly – very dimly-lit (on black marble staircase, dangerously so). One point: apart from the room service menu, there was no information about the hotel in the room – not even the telephone number for Reception. Still a lovely place to stay. Just some more lighting at the staircase, but that's just a minor thing. - The swimming pool is nice to cool off, but a bit too shallow to swim. - No outside terras where one could have breakfast, supper or just a drink. everything was great with the hotel, too bad it's not located in a bigger city. Mediocre breakfast. Signage to locate the hotel from the freeway, and in the town.
