Its position.in relation to the town, the peace and its proximity to the sea. The owner and son, family feel of hotel, setting. Freindliness of staff,Location is good,the Garden/pool area is good,very restful/peaceful when we were there,we will go again. The Restuarant was closed on 2 nights but we did not know about it.

The hotel’s restaurant, La Racona, part of which is enclosed by pine trees, offers Mediterranean cuisine and traditional local specialities. The restaurant offers a selection of dishes including seafood, rice dishes and desserts.

A buffet breakfast is available every day from 09:00 until 11:00 and the restaurant is open for lunch from 13.30 to 15.30 and for dinner from 20.00 until 22.30.

Being located in the Natural Park of Montgó, close to the sea and right in between gardens, palm trees and centuries-old trees the small and cozy Hotel La Raconà offers you're a friendly atmosphere.

The hotel, an old family mansion from 1915, provides 11 rooms as well as suites with extensive service. You will be situated on a private property including a swimming pool, parking, tennis, a small meeting room, a bar and a Mediterranean restaurant.
The Hotel has already won several awards and credits for Merit for Tourism. You can choose between different sport activities. Enjoy playing golf or even try some water sports!

We will be pleased to pamper you in "... the last Mediterranean paradise..." as the American novelist Bernard J. Lewis described our hotel.

Information about the area

In this area you will enjoy sea breezes, pines, palm trees and centuries old trees. You can also discover 3 golf courses on the vicinity, make trips to the inland and the coast, and very near: Ibiza, San Antonio and La Nao capes, with protected flora and fauna.

There are also hiking routes through the Parque Natural del Montgó (Nature Reserve). Long walks and cultural visits will keep both nature and sport lovers entertained.

By bus: Bus to Denia Station

By boat: Daily lines in connection with Baleares.

By road: N-332:
- Take motorway A-7 signposted Valencia-Alicante.
- Then take exit 62 (Denia) and continue until the Harbour of Denia.
- Continue on the A-132 signposting a Les Rotes.
- At 2.5 km of the harbour, on the left, is a road towards the sea (Camí Ample, 19), this road goes directly to the Hotel La Racona.
