Nice hotel staff extremely helpful reccimebd this hotel directly opposite one of the many entrances to the old Jewish/tourist area. Only negative point no te or coffee making facility is in the bedrooms so take your own kettle tea and coffee. We were upgraded to a on arrival we were told that we had been upgraded to a Junioe Suite. Which comes with Coffee machine, dressing gowns and slippers When I asked for the coffee sat gets for the machine and the dressing gowns I was later told that we wer.
all reviews » It was an exquisite and artistic hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful without trying to overwhelm visitors. The room was spacious, light, airy and comfortable and was decorated and furnished with thought and care. The hotel was uniquely placed above Roman archaeological remains which are visible below the glass floor and in the garden. Breakfast offered a wide range of hot and cold choices, hams, eggs, cheese, tomatoes etc. There was plenty of freshly pressed fruit juice and the coffee w. This is a lovely hotel and has many, many patios, per the Cordoba standard. It is nice and modern which I like and has energy efficient features. Some comments said it smelled like a bad bathroom, and I did smell that in the seating area in the main hall a few times, but nowhere else. It's an old place ! The room was compact but lovely. The shower had a rain showerhead and removable one and a great glass door. Oh, the door to the bathroom is also glass, frosted, but this doesn't give you a lot . Lovely hotel situated on a quiet street in the centre of Cordoba and very close to all the bars and restaurants. The rooms were well equipped, nice modern bathrooms and very clean. Very well designed throughout, mix of modern and traditional architecture made it feel quite luxurious. We got a great price for the hotel which made it excellent value. The parking was a short walk from the hotel, very secure and good value. Staff very helpful. We didnt have the breakfast but chose to have coffee an. Excellent postion just inside the pedestrianised part of the city and close to all the sites. Exterior belies the modern interior with lovely small patios to sit and relax. Room ( superior) was spacious & well equipped and quite overlooking a small patio. Hotel was full but breakfast was well stocked and you could eat inside or in the courtyard patio. Parking was 5 minutes walk away but reasonably priced & secure. Fairly easy to find, parking was close by and concessionary rate was very reasonable. The Hotel was very close to the Historical centre of the city. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the Hotel was very nice, rooms very clean and modern (unlike the roman remains displayed in the basement which were very interesting. Brfeakfast, although not part of the room rate was excellent and reasonable at 9.00 euros. First impression from the street is disappointing, but going inside will compensate for this. Not far from the old parts of town and the shopping streets. This hotel is the best kept secret in the whole of Spain. The guest rooms are spacious and handsome. Cordoba is wonderful to explore on foot and this hotel is well located for wandering all over. It's unfortunate that you can't get a beverage or snack within the hotel. It's a waste of their handsome public spaces. First was the wonderful welcome we had from our receptionist - she was wonderful, nothing too much trouble and had a great attitude to her job. Only complaint was the Aircon / Heating in the room was difficult to control so had to open windows to cool the room. The staff very polite but English is a bit of a handicap. The parking place they provide is about 15 minutes’ walk back to the hotel, and you have to drive it and park it yourself, so a bit of a nuisance. The positive side, the charge about half of what other hotels charge for the parking. All together a pleasant experience staying here. Oh yes, Wi-Fi is free but the signal is a bit erratic. The hotel lacks amenities like a gym or sauna, but that seems rather the norm in Spain. If you can do without these, I can highly recommend this hotel. Had a definite 'chain hotel' feel about it. nothing. No tea & coffee making facilities in the room, not even on request or by payment. Room was not made up and although requested, no fresh towels were brought and had to be collected at the reception. The double bed was - as is often the case - two single beds pushed together. But in this case the beds were actually made separately and just shoved together with a cover over the top that made it look superficially like a double bed. The beds pushed apart easily as well. There is nothing to dislike. It would of been nice to have a pool but patio was very nice. Standard Eurostars rooms a little small and could of had some touch up paint. The bathroom door did not close and was almost transparent! Very unpleasant!. We had a very difficult time finding the hotel and drove around one way streets repeatedly. There was a large "Do not Enter" sign at the point we needed to turn And we couldn't see the small print where it said "except for hotel guests ". Our room was on the street side of the building, which was VERY noisy, particularly on the Friday night. I specifically asked for a double bed...we were on the tail-end of our honeymoon!...but got twin beds instead. Car parking was very difficult, none remaining at the hotel, so a very circuitous route around a busy city was required to find an alternative car park. The hotel did not offer a restaurant service at night, although some great restaurants were quite close, especially good for us as it was raining very heavily. The internet was so slow as to make it almost useless. A pool would have been nice given the weather in Cordoba. We liked everything. the hotel parking is far from hotel 5 minutes walking.. lower rooms are little noisy as there are some pubs and close to the hotel. specially on weekeds. Very difficult to find and we had to hire a taxi to follow. Parking was expensive and although safe not nearby. The double bed was actually too single beds that simply refused to stay together! So unless you are in a bad marriage or need the distance from each other, those single beds drift apart quite readily and there is no way to keep them together!. Wifi coverage did not reach our room so we had to take our devices down to the lobby in order to use them. Breakfast was adequate but choices limited. Juices and coffee were terrible. We had a construction site in front of our window waking us up in the morning. You hear everything that happens in the small courtyard. Did not realise the hotel restaurant was only open for breakfast, and not dinner. Car parking, although suprisingly there was no charge, was quite a distance to walk - however it was secure and private. No parking available. The staff could've spoken a little better english. The room we were in, was pretty small but comfortable. We asked for another/bigger room but unfortunatly the hotel was completely booked. we liked everything. *** No parking, but, understand that it is not possible to fix near the hotel. Car park a long way from hotel.
