Friendly staff.clean & comfortable. Big, warm swimming pool.fantastic mojitos.food plentiful and varied for our taste (loved the rice dishes especially paella & the chocolate fountain was fab!)nice to be amongst mixed nationalities & staff exceptional at accomodating those with disabilities-WELL done! You set an example often lacking in the uk. Cable car up mountain and the fantastic park nearby are "must do's".
all reviews » Lovely grassed area by the pool to lie on. €2 if you wanted a sun lounger so no getting up crack of dawn putting towels on. Reception very helpful. Not far from beach, beautiful marina and a park which is well worth walking to. Great view from pool view balcony. Pool quite warm. A good comfortable hotel.Friendly staff. Good selection of activities on throughout the day and evening. Good food-you would not starve- plenty of choice. Cheap drinks at bar. No pushy waiters. Large pool. The staff, both reception and especially restaurant, were very friendly and helpful at all times. Check-in was quick. Bedroom was tidied every day and fresh towels were provided too. Staff friendly,with a lot of entertainment going on.The hotel was clean and well maintained. Situated in a good area and shops and bars very near. Parking also available. Food is excellent, staff is very helpful and friendly, and hotel has a nice garden and swimming pool, and a very good location. Quite close to the beach but quiet area. we enjoyed the location and found hotel relaxing and staff helpful the bar prices were very good and snack food from the bar was enjoyable. The convenience / location of the hotel. The hotel is OK, a short walk down to the beach and the marina in Benalmadena. Dining room could be crowded and felt like a canteen at times but difficult to see how this could be handled better given volume of people. Would have liked the option to be able to eat outside. Yes the hotel is up a hill but this was not a problem for us. Didn't bother us but a short steep hill to hotel, would be difficult if pushing pram or wheelchair. Entertainment not amazing. Hotel is located on a steep hill. The matrass in the beds creak. entertainment was not for us as the guest seemed to be mainly from spain the sunbeds should be free. A charge for sun beds of 2€ This is counter productive The more people around the pool more snacks and coffee are sold ??? Me .. I think it , an afront to charge guests for this facility ?? and it gets up your nose .. Yes. No dislikes. £2 for sunbeds. rooms need some refurbishment. - entertainment at the hotel and hotel nearby was loud - lots of hills to climb, but that's how Benalmadena is mostly, it's not the fault of the hotel. I like activities with Brian. He keep us busy with all kind of game. My family and me were very happy with Brian's services. paying 2 euro a day p/p for sun beds location is at the top of a steep hill known localy as (cardiac hill). Entertainment started too late. not much choice of food same breakfast every day. Evening meals - food very basic, choice very limited. queuing for breakfast. Beds not very comfortable. The beds were camping beds, and squeeked with every small movement. Front line staff at desk not very helpful or friendly, its give me your money and off you go. Lack of good information. Having to pay for sun chairs. You have to be fit due to the location of the hotel not much parking space so you have to book. We asked for a double bed, got two single, squeaky camping beds pushed together. Breakfast wasn't great!. The ebds were quite soft and not very comfortable for a good nights sleep. The air con was quite weak. horrible beds, weird food, personal throw glass in trash can through the night ana thats make a lot of noise. We were there during the weekend, and it seemed to be filled with people partying. Noise level a bit high, both during the day and parts of the night however we are sound sleepers so worked out OK.
