I liked the crew behind the desk. They were really nice and helpful. Cristian, Micky and Rafael during the day and Dave and Jose during the night. They always made me feel welcome. The diners at night is a great way to meet new people!! The rest of the staff was really nice as swell, especially the cleaning staff and of course the boys from Australia!! Thank u all for creating this amazing experience.
all reviews » the staff guys are generally nice-ish. The place is cool and looks great. I stayed in the apartment for 1 night where i got a room to myself and I really liked it. Clean, quiet and stuff. The mixed dorm looked fun too. Monday pub crawl and people were partying in the kitchen and stuff - it seemed very fun and I would have loved to join in had it not been for my long accumulated fatigue. Great place !. 24h reception with above average knowledge of English language (not common in Spain). Clean and close to a metro station. They organised different activities (museums, bars, restaurants, Camp Nou, making of paelia...) each day. Their "moto" is the phrase : more than a hostel, which is accurate !. Amazing staff - super friendly and helpful. I had a problem with my room and it was taken care of in no time! Paella evening and Pub crawling afterwards - what a great way for meeting new friends and having a great time. Hostel is superb for young people looking for some fun. Staff very kind and helpful, english speaking, willing to help anytime you need, clean rooms, good location, close to Sagrada Familia and food shops, close to two lines of subway.. Fantastic place to stay in a fantastic part of the city. Single rooms are a part of apartments, so if u are traveling in a group its a fantastic option. Great Hostel with nice people, they interact with the guests, makes an interaction between the guests, offers option of ehat to do. Grrat experience. I stayed in one of their appartments with a private room. I liked the fact that it was clean and the location was close to a metro station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is good and the metro is just a short walk away. Had a good atmosphere. Clean bed, good n friendly staff to help n to inform hostel guest on what to do,what not to do. Security is good too. The staff were really helpful and approachable. Great atmosphere especially for the kids. Very clean and comfortable. People in the hostel a so nice and friendly. Unique set up. Almost entirely filled with younger generation. I was there only for one night. But no doubt, this could turn out to be one of the most fun filled stays of your life, or a nightmare in hell. Depending on your co-habitants, in the apartment, as well as those neighbouring you. 4 Slovakian girls who live behind the wall )) Girls, Hi !. There was a guy(staff) who turned the music on loud when i was playing the guitar by the desk. dude get a life. During the night I kept hearing noises probably from the master A/C which was annoying, my sleep was not good. I did need earplugs to get some rest, walls are not the thickest. Each room is a part of apartment that is shared with other teenage people mainly coming to have parties, don´t even try to sleep without earplugs. The room can get noisy depending on the other guests sharing the appartment. I seems rooms were reconditioned but the furniture could be better for instance having more storage room or a lamp in the night stand. The walls in the room are quite thin, so may not be great if you're a light sleeper. Taxi to airport could have come faster. The staff is too busy sometimes and I had to wait quite long to talk to them. Nothing. facilities. little bit noisy because someone made party there... not running internet on an upper floor. Nothing negative, but it does have a vibe more suited toward young travellers. Location is not particularly bad, but about 20 minutes walk, or three metro stops to the heart of the city. Nothing much in the immediate area.
