location of hotel was fantastic! Just off Ramblas and in beautiful square. Hotel staff were nice, helpful. We had a beautiful room over looking the square and although we had only booked a twin room was given a room with 4 beds!. Location to tube and general points of interest in Barcelona. i liked the price of it and its central location. the breakfast was ok and the room was clean.

We didnt mind the noise - we were partying all the time anyway :). The hotel should state that breakfast finishes promptly at 10am. No service/food etc is provided after this time. The corridors were extremely dirty, the elevator shaft was lined with so much dust that upon entering the hotel we needed to take allergy pills for it, and other various places in the halls of the hotel were very unclean. Although we were aware there was no airconditioning, we did not expect to have such a tiny window! It was like a sauna!. Dirty towels, very noisy, mostly young people staying there, bangingdoors, loud voices late at night, glorified hostel ?. Transient air - staff were necessarily polite. Noise carried in the hallways at night at times sounding like murders were being committed!. breakfast very cheap not much selection. A bit noisy.You can hear everything in the building. You can hear your neighbours flush the toilet, you can hear them talk, the rooms are very small and the beds are not comfortable at all. Uncomfortable beds, stain on one of the bed sheets.the quality of rooms was below what what would be expected for the price. High price per room. No better or worse than the competition but it seems like a rip off at 100 Euro per night compared with other uropean cities.
