The location is perfect. Right at the end of la ramblas but without the noise. Feet away from the colon and the port. Also just across the road from Drassanes metro which is the green line that takes you to plaza catalunya, lesseps (where parc guill is), and passaige de gracia ( where casa batillo is).There is a supermarket and a bank right beside you aswell and the wax museum poster welcomes you into the alley way as you head to the hostal. Perfect. The hostal itself is new and the messages on.
all reviews » Pillow Ramblas is very conveniently located right on La Ramblas. Minutes walk to everything you need. The staff were absolutely delightful - particularly Eva and Gina - always smiling, always helpful. Rooms were newly renovated, very clean, bright, spacious. Breakfast was also very nice with a beautiful spread of pastries, sweets, hams, cheeses and a nespresso machine. Highly recommended, would stay there again without question. The hotel was great, in a great location on the ramblas (but further enough away for it not to be too loud). The staff are spectacularly friendly & helpful. I was sick for 2 days & they made sure I had enough of everything, and offered to write down what I had to give to the pharmacist. Breakfast was good, enough of everything. Hotel felt secure at all times. I would recommend this to any friends travelling to Barcelona. A real gem for the centre of Barcelona. 50m from the Ramblas and another 50m to Drassanes Metro. Very clean and helpful staff, especially Gina. Some have said it is noisy but you really cannot have such a convenient location in a city that never sleeps without some noise. We slept well. Double room was 2 single beds pushed together that kept rolling apart in the night, also really hard beds, staff are friendly but dont rely on them for any assistance navigating the city on knowledge on local stores/restaurants.
