At first we were not sure about Petit Born - the shared bathroom was a concern for us and we had not picked this up on the web site when we booked. However, Anna was extremely helpful and convinced us to stay. And we are pleased we did - the location is excellent for a short Barcelona stay, the rooms are comfortable and the facilities in general are spotlessly clean. Even the shared bathroom was not a major problem. The breakfast is very good as well. And Anna is certainly a major asset - helpf. all reviews »
I can't recommend this place enough! I loved my stay there, especially as a female travelling on my own! I always felt safe and comfortable, the room and facilities were absolutely gorgeous, the hosts were incredibly kind, polite and very helpful, breakfast was delicious, the location is absolutely wonderful - right near a metro station but also within easy walking distance of everything you could wish to see - and the entire experience of staying here was smooth, effortless and totally enjoyab.
I have very special experience with Petit Born B&B. My wallet was stolen at the first day, but Anna and her parents are so kind to help me contact policeman and confort me. I'm also happy with the room. Very clean and cute. Breakfast is very organized every day. The location is also great, only 3 mins to the nearest metro stop and 5 mins walking to old town. There is a supermarket just opposite the building. Very convenient. Overall, it's a good value for money.
I really enjoyed staying at this place! Special thanks to Anna, who I met and talked with me during my stay! Very sweet and friendly girl, always ready to help. Very clean, breakfast was very happy with the neighbors I do not overlap and there was a feeling that I live there is one) location is very convenient, close to the subway and go to the waterfront just a leisurely 10 minutes.

The location is really awesome, you get out of the front door and you're in the middle of the nightlife/old town.
We liked it all - but be prepared to share a bathroom and to climb 72 steps to your room. Travel light!.

On the downside of the location you have a lot of street noise at night but that doesn't bother us. Our so called "double bed" was two beds standing close to each other and the bathroom/toilet is shared (stated differently on the description page). There is no reception and you have to phone the staff to get the keys.
