I stayed at the hotel for a conference in Barcelona, and I was very happy with my stay. The room wasn't huge, but it had a king-size bed. Everything was kept immaculately clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, so can't comment on the quality, but it was E8 which seemed expensive given that I had breakfast at the bakery down the road for E3! The area that the hotel is in is more of a residential/shopping area of Barcelona, which I liked, as it .
all reviews » Everything! Very nice small hotel almost in the centre of Barcelona, within one metro stop from the Sants railway station. White foyer, bright- green corridor, cosy rooms - each about one of the Barcelona places of interest. Ours was called 'Parc Guel'. The window looks out on the quiet yard. We arrived late, something after midnight. The stuff was waiting and opened at once. Buffet breakfast gotta be booked in the evening before, it's quite rich - with hamon, eggs, pastries and coffee. Breakfa. The hotel is just perfect. Spotlessly clean, rooms are small, simple, but very comfortable, modern and bright, plus: an excellent, pleasant, very clean bathroom. Fluffy towels, extremely clean, spotlessly white bed linen. Great location - a short walk to Sans Train Station where you can catch a train to the airport (20 min Sans Station - bcn Airport). Walking distance to touristic areas (20 min) or just a few minutes by subway. The price for such a nice hotel was very reasonably. Highly recomme. The staffs were very kind. Breakfast was good enough. The price was reasonable. If you get to & from Sants staion, it's convenient to stay. The location depends on what you usually do in Barcelona. If you want to visit Camp Nou, it's within walking distance. But if you want to stay long in La Rambla area, it takes a little bit time to get, I think. But this cannot be serious, cause the metro runs till late at night. To start the ladies at the front desk were amazing and very helpful. Everyone spoke English which was wonderful. The facilities and rooms were clean, white and quaint. We did not have the breakfast so can't comment, but everything outside of facilities was close by (restaurants, groceries, underground metro) which made B&B location perfect. Cost was definitely budget friendly. Will be back stay soon. Lovely clean Hotel, I booked a single and got a twin room for the same price with a backyard, table an chairs, i asked the staff to wake me up and 6.45 and they did so I was able to have an early and amazing breakfast before goint to Sants which is only 10 minute walk, lovely room, clean and new all facilities exclellent and great location and price. This is the second time that I go to this hotel. Everything is OK and it´s also a very peaceful hotel being in Barcelona. It is placed in a pedestrian street and you don´t listen to any car passing through ¡ I recommed this hotel. We chose Live and dream due to its great reviews and mainly proximity to the main train station. The location is great for its proximity to the subway as well, which was a mini interchange of 2 subway lines. The actual walking distance from Espanya interchange is also bearable on a cool day. Very clean, the room has been cleaned daily, good position on a silent street, close to the metro station and to shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The two of us had only one key-card, which is not really convenient, because we sometimes separated in the city and didn't come back together. Once I had to call and explain the stuff, that I had not lost my card, but had given it to my husband, who was upstairs. The next day he had to wait for me in the street to let me in. Another minor problem is wet floor in the bathroom. But we both love to have shower often, probably that's why the floor had no time to dry up. I booked a room with terrace(cause i was in my honeymoon thinking doing something for my wife). But the weather was not that good to use it. So if you have little time to stay in hotel, i recommend you not to have terrace. We were busy outside that we couldn't enjoy at the terrace. This doesn't mean that i didn't like it. The terrace itself was good. There is no coffee machine in hotel. Room and shower room are small, but I am not a big person :). Sants is a little far out perhaps. Okay for me as I know the city well but for others who don't, might be tricky to find. hooligans in the room next to us - but the staff took care of it. Location is in residential area, but at night time, it seems toooooo quiet, even nothing will happen, but just looks not suitable for late night out if you are solo traveler. And the place is a bit tricky to find for the first time. It is difficult to find the first time, ask taxi driver to use the navigator!. Not easy to find the hotel from the first time. slightly intimdating walking back late at night in the back streets but encountered no problems. chairs a bit noisy on the tiled floors. it's a bit noisy with the elevator and you hear some city noise. the worst thing is the shower - it was impossible to shower without getting water all over the bathroom floor and having the curtain stick to you. Couldn't order any food when got there late at night. Although has the option but need to tell the staff in the hotel in advance I guess. Tax is not counted into room fee. The design of bathroom causes the floor with water while bathing. The room's design is not spacious. nothing. I have no complaints, everyting was ok. Tiny room. No blackout curtains, which makes difficult to sleep beyond 8am. Wi-Fi worked on and off, a bit of a nightmare. Uninspiring surroundings. Some things, like the bathroom sink, are a bit smaller than we would have liked. wi-fi was poor.we couldn't use the Internet in comfort. Could do with tea and coffee making facitilities in the room. All was good. the hotel is about 20 min by underground from the city centre.
