huge room, good location, nice staff. take the metro to lesseps and walk along republic de argentina, its close to park guell (must see in barcelona). Excellent customer service. Seems hotel was just recently refitted (beginning of 2009-end 2008). It was handy for the Metro and all the staff were very helpfull. location convenient to a meeting I had.

"Double" rooms are in fact twins, beds can only be pushed together and do not stay together. This should be clearly advertised.too much noise from the street and from the reconstruction site, which was just in front of the hotel. the maid did not clean the floor during the whole stay, so it was a bit dirty. They asked for a 20€ deposit for the remote control, and for the iron. That was very cheap on their part. (made i feel like it was not a 3 star hotel). The view and lack of natural light in the room. air-condition didn't work properly, poor variation of satelita channels. Noisy - creaky doors!. Joint together single beds for a double room. Air-condition don't work properly. wifi free would be better and poor breakfast offer. The drain on the bath tends to block after a while on the shower. I reserved one room double with only one bed and they gave us one with two beds, anyway beds were bigers than normal.would appreciate minibar in the room. noise from the other rooms, the television flatscreen is too high and it is no possible to watch at it from the bed.The noise - the walls between rooms are very thin. There was only one english channel available in the cable TV. More channels could have been offered. We didn't like the noise. 1) slippery, dangerous condition of bathtub; (2) lack of restaurants nearby. Paying a deposit of 20 euros for TV remote? Do people steal them???Breakfast is 10 euros, a bit steep. The pay for the car parking was mach more 24 earo for one day. The shower was broken, so we had to have a shower on another room, and move to another room the next day, which that was tiring and long. WiFi didnt work.We stayed 8 days and the sheets werent changed.rooms very noisy. Too expensive with no breakfast included and people on the desk not ableto cover any type of request.the staff. There was a leak at 5h30am. Lots of water falling on the entrance of the room and it lasted for 1h or so. Although we tried to get some kind of compensation for this "incidient" the typical excuse of "I can do nothing, I am not the owner ..." was used by the staff. We left in very bad mood.Unfriendly staff, no working a/c temperature was 28c in room had tosleep with window open which was very noisy, lot of funghus in bathroom,hairs on the ground in room, no remote control for TV-set. Came back inhotel in afternoon at 4:00pm room was not cleaned yet.

take the a7 and the c33 into barcelona. You will enter the city
by the avenida meridiana (c58/c17). After about 1km you must take the
ronda dalt(b20) until you reach the exit number 6 (carrer dâ´estebe
terrades) and then avinguda hospital milital. After about 550m you will find ballester street and the hotel on the right.

2) by public transport
from the airport: the best way to get here is to first go to
plaza catalunya, you can either take the bus (aerobus) or the
train. From there, take metro line 3 (green) and get out at the lesseps stop. This line will bring you straight here in only four stops. The hotel
is about 400m away from lesseps square, walk up the avenida
república argentina and you will find the hotel in the second
street on the right.

3) by taxi
