We spent 6 fantastic days at the B&C BCN, our room had private toilet (we loved the shower with hydromassage and radio!)and was spacious, nice in every single detail, clean and very well kept. Vanessa, at the reception, is just amazing:she provided plenty of useful suggestions about the city and surroundings,arranged transport for the airport (both upon arrival and departure),helped with ticket reservations,assisted with luggage the day of the check out... she really made our stay special! .

She offered us the best room for not additional charge even though we were fine with the one we had originally booked. She was so helpful with telling us about destinations to check out in Barcelona. The newly remodelled rooms were very stylish, very comfortable, the modern shower had a built-in radio and massage setting. We were very comfortable and a 4 min walk from Sagrada Famillia (absolute must. Vanessa was extremely friendly and helpful in introducing the places of interest in barcelona and recommending an itinerary, she also recommended a restaurant nearby that was full of local flavour and we loved that food so much, we went back a second day. She also very kindly gave us an aircon that didn't come with the room we booked. The location is beyond perfect and the room was very comfortable for the price, but to me, the host Vanessa is the best selling point of this B&B. Vanessa the manager was fabulous . She was always available to help & point us in the right direction . Extremely welcoming . This boutique hotel is in a great location for all Gaudi's attractions . Minutes from supermarkets & laundry facilities & restaurants . I felt it was a fair price . Free tea & coffee was great in the morning . Hotel was really good, clean and perfect location. Coffee was perfect in the lobby!!! Our host was so helpful!!! She (Vanessa) is the best!!! She advised all importand places, almost planned our days!!!! Believe me, good price and excellent service!!! No regrets!!!. Friendly, helpful host Ongoing renovations will make this hostel even better. We had the double room, with its own bathroom etc. Within a few minutes walk of Sagrada Familia - Barcelona's best attraction. Good location on main street with easy access. Staff was very helpful & knowledgeable about the area. Returned call with regards to a lost item & later found item. Will ship it to us in USA. The location is excellent, also Vanessa-the girl at the reception was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very neet and clean and the bathrooms too. I would definitely go back and I hope I will. Shown how to make coffee in the morning in the hallway so we could have it in the room! So bought coissants to have ready... The staff was very friendly, the hostal was located near to the subway. Belles chambres. Location. Nothing :). At the time the hallways were being re-painted, but not a problem :). There was a single grape from the previous guest under the beds! But it was alright and we laughed about it. Unfortunately the bed and pillows need to be of better quality & softer . The room we stayed in picked up all the noise from the other apartments & other guests . Air conditioning unit is very loud & has to be turned off to sleep . Bathroom small but excellent . Brilliant shower . Only that toilet was not in the room, but it was stated in the info... This is a hosltle, not a hotel, but fair value for the money. TV super small & street noise, but hey you are in the heart of Barcelona. Parking garage nearby @ $ 30.00/day if you prepay. Still under construction but no noise that we were aware of. The fact that there is no kitchen is a minus, but I already knew that when I booked the room. Also, the street is quite noisy and the windows are very thin and not very protective. One of the rooms is on the inside of the building and it has a small window. Too noisy condition. It's not in the city centre. Shower head in bathroom was not attached to the wall, meaning you had to hold it the entire time. Easily fixed, yet not done so. Maintainence was during our stay June 2013. no alarm clock in room. Windows are not quite good so all the sound of the street is in the room. ,,,No coffee available in the morning! All gone although up early! Taken by other guests - but if they left it in the individual rooms then it would be a bed and coffee place but for us it was bed and no coffee - bnc!. It was noisy at night and the shower cabin was too small. Petites chambres. cleanliness, Room quality everything.
