one of the best and creative ways to stay. I wish there were more services similar to this where you get a hotel quality room and share a bathroom to bring down costs. Staff were friendly, helpful and was only 7 minutes walk from Diagonal station, lots of shops and eats near by too. clean safe place. brilliant stay. The staff at the reception speak very good English, helpful. The room and bathroom very clean, pleasant. No traffic noise in night. Good public transport connection. Air condition and tv in the room as promissed. The common bath facilities shared only by 2 rooms.

Very close to the metro station. 2 min walk from the main street Garcia which is the main shopping street and has many famous sights of barcelona. The automatic check in machine and ability to find the rooms was great. The room was convenient and clean: bed, bathroom (with free shower gel) and TV. The free Wi-Fi was extremely useful. Everything is great. Comfort, clean , easy walk to metro, nice staff and helpfull.nice rooms modern furnished, white linen, great price for value!!! Will recommand for sure. We discovered too late the metro and bus station right at the corner, but had other options at more walking distance. A little noisy as near main roads, but not unbearable. Thin walls so a bit noisy late at night from other hotel guests when they came home from their parties. Sharing a bathroom... The room was a bit small and did not have a wardrobe to store clothes in nor a table or even a small table. quite noisy - can hear all the people walking around the hostel. slightly small, didn't meet anyone until we checked out however automated check in service was really good. Rooms were little bit small but good. Nothing to complain. A little bit small, without side tables and they only gave us 1 key. The bed wasnt very big or comfy. Air conditioning. Was advertised with air conditioning but was shared for the whole level and for some reason the temp was constantly changed or switched off completly making the room like an oven. no terassa. The bathroom was all new but there where no shelves by the side of the washbasin to put personal items. Too much parfum in the bedroom. I was in a room in the 3rd floor and I could listen everything that was happening in the street (drunk people, etc), also there is too much light in the room in the morning, maybe the curtains are not enough for those who are sensitive to light. The soundproofing is really poor!. Air condition was working too much and control system was outside the room. Most of the times there was nobody at the reception. The air conditioning was way to cold and when you told someone of the stuff, after you finally found someone, to change it, they forgot. A normal double bed room is very, very small. So when you have to big suitcases and backpacks there is hardly space to move anymore. As well there is no commune kitchen so it is not a very good option for backpackers. No soap, and a very minimum amount of shampoo and conditioner to last 1 day (but not 3 days, that is when we are supposed to get them again). We had to buy separately both. The room was a bit cold, and it wasn't possible to manually change the heating. The people in the reception are there just for a limited amount of time. cleanness was bit poor but overall it's fine!. No comunal kitchen, no common areas, far from the train station, no staff or not use full at all. Cleanliness! There was a dust bunny mixed with hair on the bed sheets on the very first night. One of our beds was extremely uncomfortable. We had twin beds with one good matress and one terrible one. We complained but were told all units were fully booked and there ws nothing they could do about it. Room was small and could only access the double bed from one side. . The price required during the exhibition . The TV had about 80 channels, but none in a foreign language ! . The personnel was not awar of the international fair taking place in the city !. It was not as central as i would have normally gone in a city break for the same price. Pushing two single beds together does not make a double bed. My girlfriend had a great sleep, i was in pain. Difficult to find. It's a normal block of flats and doesn't look like a hostel. There was nobody at the reception and I have to call a number and ask them how to get in because door was locked. We had to pay 2€ to keep the bags in a locker the day we were leaving. EUR 280 for 4 nights in a hostel that doesn't provide a communal kitchen or a fridge in the room or washing facilities and doesn't clean the floor properly, is in my opinion not great value. I know it's Barcelona, but this is a bloody hostel! Also, unless I'm mistaken, all the safes have the same code...
