The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was located in a nice, quite area but close enough by the Metro to get to anywhere in the city. A very good value for the money. location was very good for sightseeing and there was a supermarket in front of the hotel. room was clean and staffs were kind.I liked this hotel. Very stylish. Just a few steps from Passeige de Gracia. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby.
all reviews » It's almost at a city center and yet you can have a good night rest. It was a great surprise (nice surprise) to find out that there's a park after the hotel where our child could play.The bathrooms were very modern and the room was adequate. Location and rate. We were traveling with a little girl and she enjoyed a lot with the people there. nice rooms, at the center, close to the metro,close to a supermarket. We let them know we were coming in early in the day from a cruise and they gave us rooms right away at 10:30am. Not many hotels will do that and we really appreciated it!. The area surrounding the hotel is safe and located by several different type of shops: cafe shops, markets, restaurants, etc. It's convenient for taking Metro to visit other Barcelona attractions. There was no dresser, so storage of clothing was a bit of a challenge...although the closet was very accomodating. Rooms very hot. The key for the safety deposit box was ridiculous and the 50 Euro deposit for it was really exaggerated. They should really install electronic safety deposit boxes in the rooms as is normal in hotels of this category. The bed matrasses were really hard. It was difficult to sleep confortable. breakfast expensive. Our A/C didn't work right. The other rooms my family stayed in had working A/C's. Either way my night wasn't great b/c of it.The staff is not very friendly and helpful. The carpeting in the hallway was very dirty all 6 days of our stay, like after repair works. We surprised we did not see any improvement at the end.Carpet on the floor outside the rooms ( in Corridor) was very dirty. expensive breakfast. no tea coffee making facilities in room / carpet in corridors very scruffy. Noises from upstair rooms and from streets are audible esp. at night.CNN chanell, only one we could watch since we didnt speak spanish, didnt work properly. Pillows were very bad and bed was very hard. Remote control for TV did not work, airconditioner was too noisy. Bigger TV-screen. no complimentary water, or tea/coffee making facilities in the room, is just greed on the part of the hotel group in my opinion, for a roon that wasn't even particularly good value for money. I wouldn't stay there again on this basis. Also I mentioned this to the management at checking out, and was more or less ignored. Not great.The hallways are very dirty. the hotel was not clean, the triple room is not comfortable because the third bed is only a camp bed.It is not 4 star hotel. Room was very cold!.
