Great location - quieter, beautiful, interesting area,shortish walkingdistance from busy touristy Ramblas, close to La Predera/CasaBattlo.Easy to locate on map-south of Sagrada Familia on same road! Areagood mix of residential, business, shops, eateries....Fab breakfast,calm very clean hotel, very respectable staff and concierge to keepcases before departure-30 euros to airport worth it!. We stayed at various hotels in New York, Mallorca and Barcelona on this 3-week holiday. The Best Western Premiere Hotel Dante was by far the best value and the cleanest, most comfortable hotel. The staff was very efficient and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again next time we are in Barcelona.

Only one thing - I saw a cockroach in the ladies toilet near the bar on the day of departure. Also one afternoon while we were trying to rest in the room there was someone hammering in an adjacent room.rather unwelcoming bar area and dissinterested barman. Poor barfood. One can hear noses from the adjoining rooms, even a sneeze or a cough can be heard.Bed was not very comfortable, and elevator was very small. Far from metro station.nil. Decor was dull.too thin walls, I heard the neighbours however not the strret (I got the room on the other side). Only the distance from the Ramblas and port but this was mainly because we are now somewhat elderly . Late seventy and eighty!.
