We stayed in the top floor three bedroom and loved the apt with terrace. The checkin was seemless and Kristi did a great job of making us feel welcome with a warm smile and lots of information for our visit to Barcelona. We loved the location where we could walk to the central area or take the metro to the beach. Also thanks to Alex for helping with checkout and bag storage while we did last minute shopping. We would highly recommend Aspasios Rambla Catalunya Suites.
all reviews » The apartment was in a fantastic location and was very well appointed. It was very roomy for five people and the staff was helpful. My only small complaint is the street noise which was present throughout the night and could not be blocked. Of course this is the price you pay for such a convenient location on a big city, but if you are a light sleeper it could be a problem. Otherwise a fantastic choice. Superb flat right on the Ramblas, yards from Casa Battló and Passeig de Gracia metro and rail stations. Very nice facilities, professional staff. Lots and lots of space in the flat, and some nice touches, like a complimentary bottle of wine, water and coffee capsules. Very modern and well equipped flat. Lots of room for 6 people (2 sharing a bed). We had a fabulous 3 bedroom flat equipped with everything you could want for a great stay - even had complimentary wine, water, coffee and a kitchen cleaning set. The kitchen had every piece of equipment you could think of and all seemed to be brand new. Quite central with good cafés & restaurants nearby. Very helpful staff on reception. spacious rooms with high ceilings and modern decor; very well equipped (clothes and dish washer, tumble drier, generous fridge and freezer);well located, close to Placa Catalunya, the metro and other sites; lots of work being done to improve the signage and administration; excellent helpful staff. The apartment was extremely spacious and very well equipped. Furnishings were contemporary and functional and blended well with the traditional building. Location was perfect for sight seeing, shopping and eating out. The iPod docking station was a great bonus too. The apartment was perfect! We loved our stay at Aspacios de Catalunya the staff was excellent - helpful, thorough, warm and super attentive. They even gave us a bottle of wine. They made our stay super special. The location was quiet, super safe and close to everything. Love it. Central location was excellent. Good range of places to eat, drink or buy provisions at hand. Apartment had 3balconies over Las Ramblas. The location is perfect. Tha apartments are modern, well-equipped, vast and comfortable. Some slight delay in getting the key, but was only 10 mins, and the staff apologetic about the delay and helpful. The showers had a modern design, which leads to lots of spilling of water onto bathroom floor. Very little to complain about, I would recommend the flat!. Nothing!. sofa bed was not great, but staff admitted they were changing some of the furnishings; no handbook for the oven. Traffic noise was quite loud throughout the night but this is to be expected in a busy city!. I can't even think of anything negative to say. It was all perfect!. None. can't say - all-in-all this is a great place to stay... Nothing. Pictures below are very nice but not the apartment we stayed. Ours was nice, below pictures are much nicer, those on the ones I saw when booking. We had a balcony overlooking the street which was great for people watching, but it was also very noisy at night. The apartment has air conditioning but it has a strong perfume smell to it, so we choose to open all the windows instead. The boiler capacity.. Cold water after 3ppl showered, then we would have to wait. Many other excellent things about the property compensated for this. That we had to leave!!!!. La Rambla was SO noisy Saturday night- even at 3 a.m.! Also, large palmetto bug in bathroom and towels are only washed weekly by staff. Street noise (trucks, etc) - windows don't seem to insulate noise very well. Unfortunately the other residents in the apartment block have no regard for others, they were very noisy at night and from 5am each morning we were woken to loud talking and much banging of doors. So quite exhausting. Bedroom is onto a main street with quite some noise during the night - especially on a Saturday. The building was under renovation when we stayed there so during the day (siesta) there was some drilling noice etc. nothing. We didn't like the entrance to the apartments ,it was unsafe After the stairs there was another step on the tiled entrance floor which was extremely hard to see as it blended in. My brother had a nasty fall and my other brother also tripped.Hopefully it has been corrected with the use of safety tape.This matter was bought to the attention of the duty manager who saw it on closed circuit TV. As we were 4 adults staying in an apartment which sleeps 6 we were disappointed with the size of second bedroom which is really only suitable for children. Second bathroom had no surface to put toiletries and neither of the bedrooms had mirrors. It was extremely noisy from traffic which we did expect. We asked for clean towels which they gave us but said it was not normal. Nothing. The view from the balcony. A lack of light in bathroom and the bedroom with metal bars!. Bad smell in bathroom. Very polite and nice girl at front desk should be more informed about national holiday (but she is not from town, so we do not blame her!). Not very comfortable furniture and not sufficient for 4 people. Hot water ran out before everyone (4) had a shower. Pretty noisy with traffic at night. Complex access: you need to open three heavy doors get into your apartment, and the locking system and even the door handles are cumbrous to work. nothing. Nothing. Check out was 11am with no late check out available even if u had flights that were not until later that night.
