Surrounded by many bars and restaurants, the apartments feature balconies and double-glazed windows. They all have modern décor, parquet floors and bricked walls, while some of them also have a small terrace.
Each apartment at Apartaments Unió is equipped with an open-plan kitchen, a washing machine and a living-dining room with a flat-screen TV. The private bathrooms have a shower.

As there is no receptionist I telephoned the contact no. Stated on my booking and was met and shown around the security door and lift facilities. l was pleasantly surprised once I entered the apartment. The facilities and decor were good. The layout good and the small balcony a little bonus. The bed was very comfortable with a fresh feel to it and the apartment was also very clean. Far better than I expected. The location is just a 200 yard walk off las rambles. There are many restaurants or kf. all reviews
Excellent apartment in a perfect location just a half block from La Rambla. Apartment was very nice, clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed. Had a lift and seemed to be a safe neighborhood. Located on a quiet side street, but close to stores, restaurants, and the great La Boqueria market. The Metro is very close and really the apartments are in a great central location to get around Barcelona.
The staff was responsive and very helpful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apt in #20.

We found the apartment very comfortable, well equipped, and extremely
well placed for exploration of Barcelona. Set in a minor street in the
old city, the apartments are quiet, and the one we occupied had a
private terrace where we enjoyed some meals. All staff we had contact
with were friendly and obliging, and we found our apartment of excellent
value. We hope to stay in Apts Unio again on any future visit to
Barcelona.
First of all, great location. Apartments Unio are at the right side of La Rambla. Clouse to everithing - Gotic, Opera Theatre, Market, seaside etc, but at the same time are hiding at the quiet small street.

Kitchen was fully equipped. We had everything needed for cooking and eating.
Very close to the old city, nevertheless quiet (we were there at the time of the festival de la Merce - very crowded, very loud). Nice little appartement, all the needed facilities available. Friendly introduction and explanations by the staff.
Great appartment with all the faccilities, its clean and have all what you can imagine! The location is amazing in the heart of Barcelona! the stuff is very nice and help when you need something. We will come back for sure! Thanks a lot!!!.
Fantastic location, steps away from Rambla, but in a quiet street. 7 min walking from Plaza de Catalunia or 1 min walk from Liceu metro station. We happy to check in quiet early and personell is doing a good job in explaning things.
We loved the location and the separate bedrooms as well as very convenient kitchen and laundry facilities. The staff were always on hand to answer all our questions in a super friendly manner. Would definitely stay here again.
We were met by Abdul as soon as we arrived - shown the apartment which had lots of unexpected extra's ie oils glad wrap coffee maker every utensil that could be thought of all this plus a beautiful balcony -.
It was an easy apartment to relax in after days sightseeing. The location was perfect and the facilities in the flat very good.

The apart contained facilities, which were more than we had expected. There was an elevator and this is marvelous with a stroller despite some steps. Location was excellent.

Apartment was perfect; it is in a quiet yet central location. Clean and well equipped. We had a very comfortable stay and an enjoyable visit to Barcelona.
Proximity to The Rambles and Metro Licea. Easy access via metro to Montjuic and Montserrat. Apartment even had a small washing machine and detergent.
Everything in this apartment was great - clean, close to Ramblas, quiet, well organized, helpful staff.

Apartments were clean and cool on arrival.Beds were comfortable.As our stay was short we did not use cooking facilities.

The proximity to Las ramblas. We were able to walk to Picasso Museum; we reached all destination on foot.

Very minor points would be no iron board and lack of english channels on the sat..Although this is not really an issue if your out enjoying Barcelona. ... although im sure the owners would of remedy this quickly if notified as they were very helpful. .
A very minor personal criticism was the lack of a conventional oven in
the kitchen, as we prefer not to use microwave. This said we would still
return to Unio on a future.
When I asked for a second sheet in bed to cover, they were quiet embarrassed and told me, that they didn't understand, why I needed a second one. In a good accomodation such a simple wish of the guest will be fullfilled without needing the reason.

TV receives only limited number of english speaking channels...only news channels available. Providing 2 tiny bars of soap not enough.
The room might be a little bit less dusty. Especially under the beds.

Front door and street door locks a bit iffy. Could not get the card to work in the unit door and lucky to have a key backup.
If possible, it would be nice to have access to one or two American
tv channels.
Do not take a right when leaving. Always stay to the left. It's amazing how what a difference a few blocks can make.
neighborhood could be a bit of inconvenient to families after 12 Am.
I would have liked more fire safety information.The lift and stairs were next to each other.The rear of the apartment overlooked an enclosed courtyyard and from the 3rd floor no apparent fire escape.

city walls - hooked up quite by accident.

We had a late flight and had to be out early. Probably our own fault, should have maybe booked another night. Holding room with bed/shower would be a good idea for all hotels/appartments?.
However the reception for Sports TV - very poor.

There's no one to attend. You must call first if don't reply their email. The supplied key didn't open the downstairs door.
The cleaner did not come the secound day.

Cleaners entered our apartment an hour before check out- not suspicious but would be good to at least wait until we've left before trying to clean the place.
No disadvantages.
