Nestled at the foot of the Hawaque Mountains, Oude Wellington Wine Estate is a fine example of traditional Cape Dutch architecture. Enjoy a glass of wine at arrival. Afterwards, you can explore the estate or relax in your individually furnished room or cottage.

Restored to its former glory by its current owners, the estate offers accommodation in the original farmhouse as well as slave quarters. Take in Oude Wellington’s unique feel as you visit the wine cellars or indulge in quality cuisine at the restaurant. In the meantime, your children can go and see the Alpacas bred on the estate.

Travelling information

By car:

- Coming from Cape Town, exit the N1 in direction Wellington (Exit 47).
- Follow the R44 into Wellington town centre.
- At the big white church turn into Church street which becomes Bainskloof Road (R303).
- Continue for about 4.5 km.
- Our entrance has a big wine barrel that says "Oude Wellington".
