The peaceful surroundings and the hospitality of the staff..and definitely the view from our room.Not forgetting the complimentary piece of cake upon our arrival celebrating my husbands birthday. Loved the setting. Room was clean and tidy. Staff was friendly and we were well received. Enjoyed just sitting at the pool and enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings. The food was excellent as usual. The comfort of the room as well.The spa treatment was out of the world..... so nice.

Best view onto the river and the swimming pool area. Lovely to have had the balcony/lounge along with the bedroom. Had a very nice quiet and relaxing time on Sunday (day of check-out) by the pool. Beautiful view, lovely grounds, next door to the golf course. Very relaxing atmosphere. Ambiance of the hotel is good , bur the negatives of the facility makes one forget the good view. Staff were extremely friendly and polite. The shower facilities were sub-standard. There was no light in the tub/shower so it was dark. There was NO hot water so we couldnt have a nice hot shower. the water from the shower and the wash basins was just warm and that's not ideal. The wrong impression and booking. Instead of a booking for two people your staff made a booking for one. How sad. The fridge in room 403 freezes everything, it needs to be fixed. We would also have liked to play pool, we where told that you don't have pool tables anymore. There wasn't any air freshener in the rooms. Tv was fuzzy Room Service menu not in room and room service not considered value for money. Hotel needs maintenance. SHower didn;t work in Executive Suite. Small box tv in bedroom Shower in small bath. Drinks service. The Saturday night buffet dinner was overcrowded and the waiter/staff service wasn't the best. It seemed the hotel accepted a lot of walk-in customers on that evening. Feel that the need of the residents need to be taken into account. Staff were friendly, but the service was very slow, particularly at the pool. Not much to do besides lounge at the pool or play golf. The shower in our room was either too hot or too cold - impossible to get right. 1. Rooms need a serious make over 2. Food Menu very limited for indian patrons 3. Staff require immediate client training. Tried to overcharge me on check inn. Glass pieces on the floor of our room where we had a baby. A large group at breakfast meant that we had to wait half an hour in the line to have breakfast as a hotel guest.

- At the N3 / M2 intersection keep right, following the N3 to Durban / Kimberly (left goes to the M2 Germiston / Johannesburg).
- At the N3 / N12 intersection, keep right onto the N12, following the N12 to Bloemfontein, Vereeniging and Kimberly (left goes to the N3 Heidelberg / Durban / Springs).
- At the N12 / R59 intersection, keep left onto the R59, following the R59 to Johannesburg, Alberton (Suid) and Vereeniging (right goes on with the N12 to Kimberley).
- Keep left for the R59 South to Alberton / Vereeniging (right goes to the R59 Johannesburg).
- Take the Voortrekker Street off-ramp.
