Amazing garden. As vegetarians, we received a truly superior breakfast by the fireplace. Room was spacious. Town of Swellendam is nice and feels safe. Close by Bontebok NP, which is recommended to visit. Each room has a folder full of very useful information and organized very well: what to do and how much time / distance you need to foresee for it. Superb hospitality. The owner (Fienie) was exceptionally helpful and affable. Quality of decor, design and location superb. Easy walking distance to good restaurants. Fabulous views and superb breakfast. The muffins for the road when leaving was a lovely touch. Cannot fault this establishment. It should be a 5 *.

From Mossel Bay, take the right turnoff to Swellendam East. Drive into town and take the second turnoff to the right, which is Faure Street. Follow the road to Aan de Oever.

From R60, Ashton, turn left at the 4-Stop, Voortrekker Road. 3,7km to Aan de Oever, pass the big white church, turn slightly to your right, over the bridge, and the first street to your left is Faure Street.
