However the outlook over the sea from the residence and patios is quite magnificent.

The surroundings area offers several approved beaches which are in the near vicinity of the guest house, plenty of opportunity for active leisure with a number of golf courses a short drive away and a selection of restaurants which you can take advantage of after a day exploring this wonderful region.

Stayed at the Beachcomber Bay Guesthouse for 2 weeks. We could not have been treated better, staff were fantastic, breakfast was superb, the setting and magnificent view you wake up to each morning is breathtaking. Owners Trevor and Sharon are there to help you in advising where the best places to go, they make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. We came in on a late flight and they were there to greet us. Their guesthouse is very clean and secure. Off road parking is in a private driveway.

We loved staying with Trevor and Sharon. They are very friendly social people. We went to watch the Ladies European Golf Tournament. Sharon gave us the directions to Southbroom which made it easy for us to travel. The views from most aspects of the Guest House were stunning. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. Great location. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and informative host. Friendliness of the owners and informative of local area. The Location, Views & comfort of the accommodation. Friendly and efficient. Very comfy and clean. Price and location. friendly owners. In our opinion, if you don't like the Beachcomber Bay Guesthouse you won't like anywhere. Not enough access without moving furniture for plug sockets. Checkout a little later perhaps but not a huge problem. all a bit tired and dated.

- Follow the N2 toll road south of Durban for approximately 140 km.
- Take exit 29 and at the crossroads, turn left into Alford Road.
- At the next crossroads, turn left into National Road Drive on past Ramsgate Boulevard shopping centre, the SPAR and Total garage.
- Turn right into Marine Drive signposted to Ramsgate North, continuing past La Capannina Italian restaurant and Natalie's Shell Shop.
- Immediately after Tinkers Den, turn right into the driveway of Beachcomber Bay, 75 Marine Drive, Ramsgate.
