Had a lovely stay at Cunningham's and was very impressed with our accommodation which was very comfortable and spacious and right next to the pool area which is also very nice. The breakfast was excellent each morning with a nice selection of fresh fruit,yoghurts, cereals and then eggs how you like with bacon,mushroms and tomatoes.The staff were efficient and friendly and we loved the honesty bar where you can help yourself to drinks as and when and pay at the end of your stay. Very good value .
all reviews » A very pleasant place to stay. We were in the outside cottage - fairly basic but absolutely adequate. Very bright with white everywhere, giving the place an opportunity to display how spotlessly clean everything was. The owner was the larger than life Tim, a real character. Breakfast was great. The location was superb being only a few minutes drive to Thesen island waterfront or just take a stroll around leisure island. It was idyllic. Tim even had my car washed. "It goes better when its clean". Amazing breakfast with fresh fruits and continental option, along with the classic cooked option. Recommend the scrambled eggs. We had the premium room and it was very tastefully furnished, very spacey and comfortable. Nice pool area with honesty bar and wood burner - perfect to sit in front of on a chilly evening with a bottle of wine. The owner Tim is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place - lovely location on Leisure Island with a 10min walk to the beach looking out towards t. Staff at this establishment so friendly feels like being home . Fot the owners Preston and the Owner even making breakfast for us in the morning. The fireplace at night awesome feels like you really on a Island far away in the Bahamas. Relaxed atomosphere, Tim is very friendly and accomodating ,making us feel at home. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Everthing about Cunninghams. Atmosphere and staff. Hospitality Outside bar Large room. The rooms were clean. Not much, although bathroom probably let the rest of the room down. A bit on the small side, old fittings etc. Was sad cause we had to leave the Monday. Nothing. That we didnt stay longer. Small parking bays. The bathroom door had slots in it so you could see and hear everything. Doesn't give any privacy in the bathroom. The weather was a little unkind to us. no evening meals and proprietor very rude wouldn't stay there again.
