Staying in this hotel is like having a holiday at your Grandmothers Home. Efficient business center aan the Cigar Room is ideal for those who cannot stop smoking like me. You can even have the excellent meals and drinks (gret wine choice) whilst smoking. Non smokers also have plenty of great facilities. From now on this is my home in South Africa!. The staff- friendly and helpful from the outset-even before you enter the doors of the hotel. The rooms were luxurious, tastefully furnished and very clean. The location was very convenient for shopping. All in all, a marvellous experience.

They were knowlegable and able to offer directions and advice. Our car was safely parked with an attendant available to let us in and lock up after. I loved the lovely linen on the bed, the two toilets with door's, the two TV's (I'm not a rugby fan like my husband), the bath, the decor and everything -but I missed the dvd player as advertised. This exclusive hotel is small and quaint, with a very exclusive feel to it. It is immaculately clean and the service is simply wonderful. The room was spotless and the service was simply perfect. We would have left a staff gratuity anyway but did not like it when it came to settling the bill the gratuity the staff member told us that 10% gratuity had been added to the bill. Unit 405 had a lot of street noice(even with the extra glass on the windows) as well as the gate to the parking right next to the unit and therefore I did not sleep well. Check out took a little too long to complete because the systems were slow. loved everything. Nothing. We were not informed that the drinks in the fridge were complementary - we therefore didn't drink any of it. The prices charged for the platter of biltong, nuts and snacks that are normally complementary in a five star establishment. To date I cannot identify a single negative. Not listed on any GPS for first time visitors and the name of the hotel is difficult to see from Oxford road. Although the location is good it can get busy outside the hotel with Gautrain busses. No spa but they were able to get an independent masseuse to come in. Exercise facilities are not on site. - we only sent a night. Location may not suit everyone looking out as it does onto a busy main road but it is ideal for business and for local shopping and travel. Our flight left late in the day and we wanted to go sight seeing. The hotel would not allow us to leave the car parked after check out for a few hours, even for a fee. My colleague had a room next to some mechanical equipment that kept operating on and off all night and prevented him from sleeping. No pool or gym. Parking is very tight and inconvenient. mini-bar should be refilled very day. No Issues. Front desk didn't check adequately whether the booking had been settled before check in. This took 20 minutes to sort out, only to discover that the booking had been settled before check in.
