Classy, lovely finishes. Great service from staff. Our 7 year old really wanted pancakes for supper. Our waitress asked the pastry chef, who sent out 6 delicious pancakes with syrup - which we all devoured!. Friendly professional greeting in the car park, reception was quick. Room and bathroom were clean, well appointed, beautifully decorated. Good breakfast selection. Easy access to hotel.

We were accommodated to check-in earlier and check out an hour late. That's a service at best. We had a great stay. Everything was of top quality and we will definitely stay again. It is away from a maddening crowd and very comfortable. our room was a bit small compared to the boys. Nothing that stands out. Pool area was not accomodating kids at night, it was booked for parties all the time. Basement parking was not always available. Nothing to complain!. The breakfast was not up to scratch. The second room that the children stayed in had huge cockroaches. Sleeper couch did not have beddings (has to ask) No towels in room when we checked in (had to ask). Hotel is not in walking distance of beach front. The free internet was only for 100MB per day. Calamari was underdone. The fold out beds were extremely uncomfortable and needs thicker mattresses. We also found that while staff were willing to help it seemed like it was understaffed as things sometimes took ages to get done. No sea views. The lift was too busy because of the wedding, it was delaying my and down movement. Tap was loose in the bathroom. Breakfast was supposed to be ready at 6:30am, as I was on business I was on a time schedule. Had to wait for about 15 minutes before the breakfast was set up. In the meantime while waiting was not even offered tea or coffee. Had to go into the kitchen to get myself a plate and dishhing up spoon eventually. Quite annoying. TV difficult to operate and short of channels. Poor wifi - if not up to standard do not offer it. The menu in the restuarant is of poor quality it needs revisiting and the same for the room service menu. Bathroom had mold on the walls which gave off a strong smell. Guard sleeping on duty and I took his pic. this was at 08h00 in the morning. As a non smoking hotel was surprised to smell a strong cigarette smoke smell in the passage way going to our room. Inconsiderate guest I suppose. 1. Cooked breakfast was horrible 2. Taxi service from Gateway Mall (Only 1 km) very expensive. all good. Most dishes for breakfast were very spicy and not palatable. That you cant have 2 people in the siingle room yet the rd is so big. Breakfast menu not inclusive. Someone banging on my door at 12am in the morning. a little noise before 10pm. I arrived at the hotel after 10pm.I didnt like that there was no room service because i was travelling from the Free State and was quite hungry when i arrived. The Spa is not good. Menu in the restaurant was very limited. iron allocation for 30 minutes doors not easy to open cupboards not easy to open stale milk in rooms. Rooftop bar was closed. Way, way too little free Wifi allocation Could not order eggs as I like it, had to do with the buffet creamy scrambled eggs. The staff at reception was horrible. The lady had an attitude and that was disappointing. The breakfast is always in a state of emergency. You always had to look for the kitchen staff to and ask for utensils. The.
