liked yhe view as we stayed on the 18th floor diferrent to the other accomadation, i think thats your selling point amongst many. The revolving restaurant was remarkable! The food was excellent and the views unrivalled!. Extremely central, near to cheap local laundry services, grocery shops, restaurants, internet cafe, avis car rental, children play ground and only a few minutes walk to a the shoreline where one can walk or relax. The revolving restaurant on the 21st floor--nice view, excellent food and good service.The revolving restaurant is exelent! And we are thankfull to the hotel manager, a nice lady, who changed our room from the 20th floor to the 4th level.Ordered food from the bar, it wasn't too nice. The toilet handle was broken; we had to call 3 times to get towels which still never came! As well as trying to get someone to come open the safe which also led to no assistance at all.i could not get vouchers for the internet, and i have my own laptop computer and all the other hotels are free wi fi, so r50 is a bit expensive when the hotel does not have any outlay to pay when the customer has his computer. The general maintenance needs upliftment (broken tiles in the bathroom, stained carpets and upholstery). Smells a lot in the corridors. The renovated rooms have been painted nicely but the bathrooms needs upliftment. Not really something what is not good, but i read on the site that you could park your car for 20 rand a day at the carpark of the hotel, and that is what we did. But when we drove of nobody told us who or where we have to pay fot this service...and, even being Dutch, i wanted to pay 40 rands for two nights i payed the guy who was telling the cardrivers where to park...and he was happy about it.Related to price it was good. Old strucutre and poor maintanance.Air conditioning and toilets. The bed was old and uncomfortable. Yes the front desk treatment was terrible..not organized..didnt even know there was a booking!. And everything else was poor and disgusting. To start, the extractor in the toilet was noisy and was awful at night. The carpet under the bed was full of dirt , debris and all kind of stuff. I think that there is no supervisor who check the work of the cleaners. even the glasses and tea cups were not cleaned every day, and imagine the surprise when you return to the hotel in the afternoon...
