the staff/service was amazing. They were very friendly. I went on a dive trip and was flying out the next day. housekeeping worked overtime to make sure all my items were dry before i left the next day. when i mentioned that i have not been to table mountain because of the weather, the front desk told me that they will call table mountain and will inform me once the cable car service resumes.

Fairly close to Waterfront. Wifi, free transport to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Airport vehicle available. Staff was really friendly, the rooms are clean and well-equipped and the location is superb. One can walk to almost all of Cape Town's museums and inner city tourist attractions and the hotel is close to other public transport networks. Would have liked a bed and breakfast deal but really no problem as breakfast was available. No internet service the entire stay of three nights - huge problem for business communication. Housekeeping woke us at 08h30 to clean room (forgot to but DND sign on door!) even though we only had to vacate room by 11h00. Also, the hairdryer plug exploded in my hand and I had to be treated by first aider on duty for superficial burns to my thumb. I would highly recommend they check appliances and sockets regularly!!. Wi-Fi seemed to be a pain and not very effective. The room wasn't very big, no breakfast was included. nothing. Bathroom a bit tight. Room decor can use some freshening up. The staff could have been more helpful and advise us on local attractions and places to dine. Also the room was small and the bathroom very small it was difficult to open the door from the inside because of lack of space. double booked so no room when we turned up, had to stay at another hotel and then move back the next day. Front desk helpful but quite disorganised. Internet very slow. Administration was not done very well: we almost had to pay twice! Reception employee did not believe I alrady paid when checking in until I showed the printed receipt. We had a room without a view. Dissapointed about the breakfast. Bedding did not feel crisp and clean. Parking is also a big problem. We had to wait long for the valet to bring our car. Being woken up by the cleaners at 8:30am, they knocked and then proceeded to open the door of our room to ask us if we were checking out that morning and what time were we checking out It took 30 minutes to check-in They were unsure of the booking and wanted to charge us a second time for breakfast at check out front desk was unproffessional and not neat - so the first impression of the hotel is not good at all at breakfast we were asked 5 times what room number were we at?.
