Pension Krek is a family-run guest house in the tranquil village of Ribno, only 2 km from lake Bled and 500 metres from the Sava river valley. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the dining room and in most rooms of the Pension. A garage for motorbikes is available and there is also a nice garden to spend relaxing evening hours sipping your favourite drink. There is a dining room where breakfast is served. Beverages are offered during the day. Guests can go hiking on the many paths in the surroundings.

This is a really relaxing place to stay, and I think it provides a good feel for tradiitional Slovenian hospitality vs a larger hotel in Bled itself. Better value too. It's homely, and breakfast is simple but delicious. The location is great - close to Bled, and just behind the village of Ribno is a beautiful river with cycling/hiking trails. Everything is signposted and easy to find. Village Ribno is very nice, and stay at pension Krek let you feel good. It is quiet, family place, with delicious pears from the garden (at this season).

Ribno is a small village in the municipality of Bled. It is only 2 km from the lake and the city centre of Bled (about 20 - 30 minutes on foot.) Ribno is close to the river valley of the Sava, one of the most beautiful rivers in Slovenia. Many hiking paths pass by in the vicinity.
