One of the best hotels I've stayed in anywhere in Europe! Very good sized room and bathroom with air conditioning. Quiet location but handy for the railway station and trolley buses ( a day ticket is very cheap). There's also a supermarket (Tesco) 5 minutes walk away. Staff on reception speak English and couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel's restaurant is excellent, has a menu in English and is not over priced - try the Wild Boar! I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in that part of.

On a business trip with three other collegues we stayed at the Hotel Central Park Penzion, and I think that our collectively impression was first rate. Well functioning facilities (wifi, ...) and definitely value for money. First choice for my next stay in Zilina. The staff were friendly, courteous and committed to their guests. The entire facility was spotlessly clean, and everyone appeared to pay attention to the details. Location in the heart of the city, enough of parking lots even in the late check-in hour without the prior parking reservation, excellent staff. Must be noisy with showers and people must be careful with the mechanical sytem of the door's room when they come in or out very often, (door is slammed!). Nothing to say here as all aspects of the stay was excellent ... Breakfest table needs a better variety of youghurts (missing natural youghurt) and tea selection, bread slices were cut too thick (4-5cm). several flights of steps to climb. very hot in the room .Slept with window open. Mattress soso, sound insulation could be better, welcome at the reception ok but far from enthusiastic. A little worse breakfast ... No soap and shampoo,. It rained all the time.
