The hotel has a relaxing aura to it with peacocks strutting about and fish and lily ponds everywhere . The gardens are immaculately maintained a really lovely spot to stay . Beds were very comfortable .The bus service took us anywhere we wanted to go on Sentosa free ! definitely a bonus and one straight to the nearest huge shopping centre . I would have liked to stay longer to just sit by the pool and relax more and have some time in the Spa .
all reviews » The room was very spacious especially after an upgrade when we checked in! Our children enjoyed the large resort style pool, and a buffet breakfast with a wide range of choices. The free shuttle running between the resort and Vivo City was convenient and made it easy to get into the city when we wanted to. The staff from Reception and Gardeners to restaurant staff were lovely. The food was excellent and our own chef at the breakfast out door area was perfect. He knew what we always have by the end of the week. Nice Satay for dinner too. That was our favourite.Excellent Gym too. Room service great. Spacious room. The design and decor of the resort makes you feel relaxed. A golf course right apposite the resort. Free shuttle bus to resort world. You can save $6 entry admission(to the island) if you have a hotel booking of any hotel on sentosa island. i am a singaporean and i loved the service rendered to each individual. staff from concierge staff to f&b and room service staff were alert at all times and provided excellent service. comfort level and cleanliness of hotel was great. Really gorgeous and tranquil surroundings. Hardly feels like you're in a bustling city state. Staff were exceptionally responsive and attentive, getting rid of a stale smoke smell in the room quickly after it had been highlighted. Excellent facilities, including the pool and gym and lovely tropical gardens. Shuttle to Vivo city shopping centre every 30 minutes and another shuttle to Sentosa beach station every 30 minutes. A very relaxing environment. The staffs were very friendly. They even gave me a birthday cake! The room design is also great. Good swimming pool and place for relaxation. The many peacocks strutting around the premises improve the visitors' mood. Hotel is very near to the universal oyustudio, adventure cove, etc. Hospitality is excellent. Can be described as a spacious colonial style Raffles Hotel in the country side, less expensive though....I love seeing the peacocks around, even around the swimming pool. I liked the facilities and the availability of shuttle to Orchard Oad and Vivo City. The drivers were courteous and friendly. Concierge staff were friendly as well. totally peaceful and relaxing. The Spa The dinner/lunch in both the hotel and the spa I would recommend but not as much as the Valley Wing of the Shangri La Hotel in Anderson Road Singapore. Location is good on the Sentosa Island. Just a few minutes next to the beach. Shuttle transport to the harbor. OK pool. Nice and spacious rooms. Great staff. Great location for the ones with children to explore Sentosa, good breakfasts, clean bed-clothes, convenient free transportation service within the island. I would have liked to be able to open the windows but other wise all was great . Only one thing the room was a bit tired and needed sprucing but for value was not bad . The food was a bit expensive but could get around that . Drinks by the glass very expensive . We found the restaurant and in room dining prices expensive. Room although spotlessly clean and comfortable smelt a little musty when we arrived.Once we were there for a day it dissapeared. Maybe some of those pot pouree scented things would combat that when the room is vacant, otherwise really nice. Lovely Gardens. It's away from the "fun" side of Sentosa Island. Also, the resort maybe had changed its name recently? It's now "The sentosa, a beaufort hotel". Taxi driver couldn't find it at first. the breakfast buffet spread could have slightly more variety and the noodles corner (chef behind the glass) could be made more visible. i wasnt sure if it was available thou. too many peacocks eating leftovers! service staff on floor could have cleared the tables at a quicker rate. The food options are a bit pricey and limited. The main draw remains the grounds themselves. Not much complaint. Just that the peacocks can be quite noisey at night. nothing, it was all beautiful. Didn't get the room we booked for sometime beforehand. Told venue was full, but suspect it really wasn't, and not followed up with offer of change of room afterwards. Lack of clarity about details - e.g. mention was made of 'spatub', which was really a big bath with some 'spa crystals' and not a spa bath as might have been expected. Room was too cold even with the thermostat set to 25. Nothing really. Perhaps some bigger fans in lobby area as it was quite hot waiting for busses, taxis etc. Like almost everything except have to be very careful when eating at the swimming pool with the peacocks around.....they would like to share your food too!!!. The front desk. Tight lipped, unsmiling. Soooo unwelcoming!. Nothing negative springs to mind. The spa and gym wasn't on site. Plus you had to pay to enter the spa. When choosing a hotel with the title spa in its name I would expect it to be on site rather than having to take a ride to get to it, plus the rooms themselves are a little out of date. nothing all was great would love to go back. Rooms require maintenance and thorough clean up, changes of burnt lamps and worn-out wall outlets, standard lamps have damp patches… Conditioner has no volume regulation, the blow is directed strait to head of the bed. My request for two separate beds was ignored. Room’s design does not provide placing two separate beds. I thought meals quite expensive and drinks VERY expensive; even water. We added one extra bed into one of the rooms, but the hotel staff did not provide extra towels, tooth brush, etc. The sheet was not clean either. It was Chinese New Year, and they are properly short of hands. The foie grad at the cliff was the worse we ever had!. Not the easiest hotel to access the main bit of Singapore. Either need courtesy bus every half hour or a taxi. Only issue was that hotel rooms didn´t have balcony. We thought the food and beverages were very expensive in your restaurants and bars. I did leave a belt in the wardrobe and it was not found and returned to me. Leaving. We all got bitten by mosquitoes at the pavilion. Perhaps better control of these insects would help. We had a 5 month old baby with us who got bitten. Travel from point to point veri troublesome . The last bus to hotel timing end too early . No. Limited place to tooked weeding photoshot. Distance from hotel to beach is a bit far and tired of climbing stairs. Coming home and credit card had been debited for no reason. abit out off place as its right into sentosa but there is transportation half hourly to and from vivocity. in room service quite expensive. Poor connectivity by public transport. Pricey Spa. Pillows a little too soft. Location isnt ideal if you like to go out alot, the bus ride is far and long + time consuming, taxi to resort world casino is $8 per way. Its all a bit Disneyland on Sentosa. expensive breakfasts.
