The staff at the hotel were outstanding. We can open the windows, the breakfast, the cozyness and feeling of warmth from the teak wood furniture and floor, the outlook of the building and the location. I made a single local phone call from my room , again to check about my visa and your staff didn't charge me, very kind.Very friendly service, convenient location, charming building. Breakfast was good as well. all reviews »
I loved the attitude of the hotel staff very professional and the cleanliness of the room.Staff were very willing to help - for example, due to jetlag, my 2 year old daughter and I slept in and didn't get to breakfast til 10.25am which was really too late but they happlily cooked our breakfast with a smile. The staffs there are excellent ! very nice and friendly !. Close proximity to Orchard Road, local supermarket and interesting choice of nearby eateries. Enjoyed character of hotel. Convenient and close to Orchard road. No cozy bar to have a last drink in the evening. I felt the price was a bit high for the size of the room, but it was still a very nice room.
The tiling in the bathroom on the tub could have been finished better (some grout falling off, some loose tiles), but overall it was very clean and inviting.The odour from the antique cupboard and would be better if Continental Breakfast and american breakfast combined rather than charge at different rates. Rooms were very basic in terms of decor but I guess this does not really affect the quality of the stay as such. Perhaps hotel in need of an upgrade or few improvements...The impression is something too old ! the carpet in the lift is dirty and old !. There was no safety deposit box in the room as on previous occasions(we have stayed at this hotel several times before) and we had to request for one.
