The OCC is located in the Northern part of Singapore. The rooms and balconies face a 27 hole golf course. The hotel is quiet and comfortable. It offers a fantastic view onto the golf course. There are several restaurants on site, a bowling center, a market for groceries. Although the hotel is located outside of downtown core, the hotel offers a shuttle every 20 minutes to the MRT rapid transit and it takes no more than 20 minutes to get downtown. We were aware of this and it was good to get away from the City for a change however some guests were not aware of this. We wanted a place in Singapore that had some green space so booked this. It was very nice, comfortable room looking out on the golf course. Free shuttle to the MRT and the nearby shopping center and food hall. Lovely swimming pool. I like its peaceful n tranquil surrounding. I like its friendly staff The supermarket is super. U get almost everything u need. The free bus service to northpoint is definitely a great service. Makes my stay very convenient. the rooms are very big! awesome balcony views clean rooms and lighting lots of swimming pools lots of eating places on site bowling alley full grocery store Subway, gym and pool table shuttle to shopping center. The spacious room, definitely is a value for money. The location is perfect for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life as it overlooks the reservoir and golf course. It was a great experience overall. My family and me enjoyed the stay. Facilities are excellent and the view out of the window is picturesque. Very big room, great value for money and although the location is not very good, but there is shuttle bus picking up from MRT to the place. Loved the scenic view from the 4th floor. Room was clean and soothing in terms of lighting. Comfortable with ample spaces to move around. the room was spacious even just for two persons and the staff was fantastic. They were friendly and made us feel welcome!. big room, nice view balcony with outdoor table n chair, enough table space, big tv screen, good air conditioning. 1. Otherwise, a perfect stay at the OCC. Rooms although good size were shabby in places with stained chairs and carpet. All furniture well worn and no added extra touches. Sliding doors to balcony were very difficult to open having no proper handle. It did take about an hour by MRT to downtown and the airport. 1. No bath robes 2. More mineral water please. internet in rooms 24hrs only must purchase seperate not a lot of shopping in the immediate area. Definitely nothing :). It is far from the centre but taxi service in Sigapore is fine and you can rely on shuttle bus service to and from the MRT (Yishun station). Lack of choices for food. none. the balcony table was slightly torn. You have to travel quite a distance to eat "local food" as the site is quite isolated (Though a shutter bus exists that runs every 15 mins to a nearby metro station). None. I can't say I didn't like anything but it is some distance from the city centre and could have provided more info or proposals for easy access to the city or shops. Example ; for shops take a 15Dollar taxi to ...... For nightlife best location is ..... etc. lounge seat in rooms a bit average. It was very far away from the city centre. While clean and neat, the amenities were a bit dated (5yrs old). Hope to get more discount from letsbookhotel.com. No BBQ facilities available. Balconies too near each other.Subway is a good addition to the existing restaurants. Room is gloomy and decor tired. Internet should be free. Choice of tv channels miserable. quite noisy, as was staying at the floor where near kitchen, the hardflooring really echo the catering trolley in the mornign and late at night. Do consider removing the coconuts and tall lights, it would had been a much better bedroom view. The attitude of the reception staff, very unprofessional while communicating with the guest. There is no 24 hours room services and food ( restaurant/food chains there's no 24 hours too). location wise. There's no 24hrs provision stores around. $20 for wifi after paying for a very expensive room. The staff attitude The price of the room. They tax and service charges are hidden. Rules are very strict ! Price high. a bit expensive. Not much variety for f&b. No bell man service. A lot of bugs. No free wifi. The room was terrible! I check in at one room and found spider on my bed and the wall so I went to inform the staff, she offer to change room so I agreed, we went to one of the room, inside that room was full of smoking smell while the hotel was smoke free? So went to another room, to my surprise spider was found on the wall as well!! The staff den say let me find you a room without spider and smoking smell!! What a joke?. room service. room service.
