For the price I paid I think the single room was more than ok. Clean, new funiture, really warm. The position of the Hotel is really great - just right outside of the 3 metro lines. It's 5-10 min walk to the streat of bars and restaurants with quite reasonable prices (for Moscow) which is called Myasnitskaya. In short words this hotel is good velue for the price you pay.
all reviews We selected Ulanskaya hotel as it was close to the Red line, and we came for the rugby tournament held at Luhinski stadium, over a 3 day period. Olga made the stay extremely special, as she helped us in so many ways, and made our trip ore omfortable. She advised us of places to go and to see, arrange airport transfers, and even walked us to the post office. Room was large and clean. There was bathrobe,slippers etc( in moscow some hotel didnt put them). It was close to metro station. Central Location Quietness Cleanliness. Location, good breakfast, no noise. Location is good. Nothing. In the morning somehow there wa sno hot water. At the check-out I didn't ask why...but this is what happended to me. There was no wi fi in room. Very small TV. Very small room. Reception staff - rednecks with honor. Reseption PC mailfunction problem takes 15 min of my time. Full payment ahead without showing a room. Fridge in the room makes s sound like going to reach a light speed. Very expansive.
