Location amazing. The best in Moscow. Walking distance to everywhere. Metro just outside the door. Hotel is very historical. There is a photo gallery on the 2nd floor by the breakfast room where you see people who have stayed there and is it unbelievable. A good history lesson to the past with events before and after the
end of WWII, parades etc. Thrilling! The view of Kremlin from the Breakfast Rm breathtaking. Rooms are large and with good taste period
furnishings. Concierge fantasti. all reviews
Location is hands down amazing. From 3 metro stops within walking
distance to your ability to cross the street for a midnight stroll of
Kremlin. We had a regular ( no view) room and it was enormous, clean
with a very comfortable bed. Chocolates and next day weather reports on
the pillow were a nice touch.
Very central. Right across from Red Square. 1 min walk to Metro. Nice staff. Comfortable and clean rooms. Amenities & water provided. Marina the concierge was the nicest Russian we met on our whole trip! She was cheerful, extremely helpful, and had great suggestions.
Great !!More then expected not only your is lovely hotel, but Moscow is so clean!!beautiful Kremlin square,Bravoooo.I am in love with Moscow,I will be back:)Vladimir Kraljevic & Marija New York USA.
The location is super! Just at the center near Kremlin and red square. Very good connected by metro. The rooms are nice, the beds very good. Personnel can be very service oriented (but not all).
Location is the best, right next to the Red Square, the bed was super comfortable, amenities and room service, the staff was friendly. The spa was quite nice, well kept and clean.
Everything was splendid, the personnel, the food, the accomodation. love the place and the interior of the hotel. it brings the smell of imperior bourgeoisie to the present day.
I really like the fantastic location of this hotel and the facilities
are amazing. Moreover the spa (jacuzzi, swimming pool) are very good.
The staff is also excellent.
This is a true 5 star hotel where everything works, beds are large and immensely comfortable, concierge brilliant, food great and position unbeatable.
This hotel is one of the best I ever seen. Just splendid. Absolutely perfect in terms of location and irreproachable service. We found no drawbacks.
The location was perfect in many ways - located to many historical locations, restaurants and Metro. Shopping was easy to enjoy with many options.
Super location, excellent breakfast, beautifull Kremlin view, good restaurant, very kind ladies in reception, very nice staff in consierge office.
Location for shopping sight seeing and restaurants.friendly staff .Hotel has character chandeliers ,antique decor but with modern facilities.
Concierge is especially helpful, they can arrange anything you ask. Location is superb, just a short walk and you are right in Red Square.
The whole experience at the Hotel was faultless, absolutely magnificent. The Kremlin view room is definitely worth it.
location, nice traditional rooms, excellent concierge, friendly staff, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, very clean.
Great location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, facilities for changing money and arrange tours.
Excellent location. Our room with Kremlin view was perfect. Efficient courteous service. Ambiance perfect.
Friendly stuff, all wishes and requests are fullfilled in a moment. Good hotel for business and leisure.
I like the friendliness of Staff, the great breakfast, the bar with life jazz piano and the location.
The location is simply spectacular. Within 10 minutes walking distance to almost all major sights.

националь - олицетворение русской культуры.
The service was great, very helpful.

The location is perfect.
Locations also spa facilities are very good.
Doorman unfriendly and moody. Reception ok. Bar, going to the elevators has bad odor of smoking. English is a big issue in Russia. I speak 3 languages and often I was temporarily stuck. Breakfast room staff a bit confused, too many and not well trained. Not in line with the rank of the hotel.
Room service is priced high even by Moscow standards. I think you can
get a much more luxurious hotel in Moscow for their regular room
price, but if you can get a room (no view) for upto $500 then it is
absolutely worth it.
No in room tea/coffee facilities. It cost us around $32AUD for 2 cups of English breakfast tea at the bar!!!...It's boiled water!!!.
Facilities for swimming were not open at convenient times (not early enough). The room was told to be an upgrade but it had not bath, and was not bigger than expected. So it was no upgrade in my view, but it is a minor point on managing expectations when talking about upgrade.
The design is classy but anyway a little outdated... the smoking bar right next to the elevators, constant smell of smoke in the hallway.
Expensive - but you get what you pay for/.
Although in a non smoking room, the smell of cigarettes pervaded .
A bit old elevators, the position og TV in my room was not good.
It is very hard to find English speaking personnel except a few, unacceptable for a 5 star hotel.
Nothing!.
no dislikes.
The price,( but there are hotels much more expensive in Moscow ).
Maybe that the staff in the bar is not very experienced enough for this place.
Found Moscow to be a bit on the "not-so-friendly" side as a city. (But the hotel was great).
Breakfast price...too much expensive: about 40€.
Arrangement for getting taxis was poor. Facilities for storing clothing in the rooms was poor, particularly for this class of hotel.
Swimming pool is open only 10.00-22.00.
Nothing.
Layout of room and size for the price, especially bathroom
Old carpeting
Wifi at times so slow that it is unusable.
I had to convince the staff at the breakfast room on the first floor to accept that I only wanted Continental Breakfast - and wasn't prepared to pay for American Breakfast - which would have been three times more expensive.
Nothing.
The hotel didn't offer airport transfer or Paveletsky station to hotel transfer where I had a horrible time getting a taxi to the hotel. Whilst staff were helpful, they lacked experience other luxury hotels master. I had to wait in front of the hotel for 10mins with the taxi while my luggage was being brought out after I had already waited in reception.
Room Service food not up to standard and very expensive even with Moscow standards.
There was no bellman to great my taxi when I arrived and I had to lug by baggage into the hotel and to my room.
Expensive for what you get ... and unreasonably expensive for extras.
Almost 40 euro pp breakfast and 20 euro for bottle of water at bar. 15
euro for small bottle of water from the min-bar. 12 euro coffee. Wow.
Slow internet connection.
Too expensive breakfast!!!.
Too expensive
Poor breakfast.
Very poor breakfast.
The Price for the hotel was reasonable, even though the Room was small. All extras (breakfast, mini bar etc) very expensive.
A couple of friends who stayed there with us had their mobile Iphone 4s
stolen during the night, when they left the room to have a dinner. The
hotel manager checked the door log system and someone else from their
staff entered in the room at 11pm and stayed inside during only four
minutes, prove more than enough. In resume, it is not a five stars hotel
as it is classified, maximum three stars would be more than fair....
It was very difficult to have a shower because of very poor pression. Nearly no water came out of the shower, so it was either cold or very hot!.
