Really cool place! Very cozy, comfortable and good-designed hotel with quit relaxed atmosphere. You feel like owners were trying to take care about all your needs and at the same time make everything simple and still functional. It seems people feel very proud about working there.... all reviews » Fresh, new and well equipped hotel at wise price - that's not so common appearance in Moscow... Location - it's just a few steps from pedestrian street Arbat. Metro station is just around the corner, but at the same time it doesn't bring You any unconfortability, any noise. Breakfast was good (sparkling wine is included) - my proposal would be to book the room including breakfast . It's not so cheap if You buy it separately (~ 1100 Rubles). Everything about this hotel was superb. We arrived late and tired, to be thrilled by how comfortable, clean and pleasant our room was. The reception staff were extremely helpful with all my requests, the location was perfect for either walking or catching the Metro. Breakfast was superb, catering for every taste. I cannot fault this hotel at all, wonderful experience and would definately recommend and stay again. The Mercure Arbat is a block from the old Arbat section and a block from a busy Moscow thoroughfare. I liked the boutique style of the hotel with comfortable bar and attractive restaurant. The food was good. The room was very attractive with spacious bathroom and separate toilet room. They have a spa with sauna and workout area that we did not use. The metro is practically at the doorstop. The location to metro is at the doorstep of hotel so easy to get aound the city and well as to airport. They also offer room service breakfast for free if you breakfast is included in yor rate which was perfect if you want to sleep in late. The lobby is kind of small. Usb access from tv to usb flash is disabled and there is no workaround like a payable cinema or video on demand. We only found out it hadn't a couple of days before the trip, then our uk debit card was declined. We weren't informed by letsbookhotel.com that it had to be a credit card. Then the hotel stated the last 4 digits of the credit card we then submitted were different than the one we had actually used. All unnecessarily stressful. Expencive... My Room was too far from the lift. Rooms are small. - Taxi Driver's Manner. Nothing. extremely rude and poor staff . t 1200roubles for a 5km distance whereas are cabbies were asking fo 500 . not helping in any nature. extremely poor hospitality. Taxi arrangemet time. It seems to be answered always 1 hour. It sould be better to answer the arranging time after checking taxi company for each time. Standard silicone pillow was not comfortable for sleeping. But room service deliver a good pillows immediately after my call. Breakfast too simply. Odd building, many rooms have poor windowing. A little more information from the staff of reception on transportation, venues, markets etc. breakfast is really overpriced, gym is really too small. breakfast coffee. Did not like the room. I visited the hotel for many times since its opened. My last visits I saw not excellent service, not so executived stuff as in the beginning. Receptionist forgot to prepare en earlier breakfast, one day my room wasnt cleaned... And no more smiles. (. During the meal staff wasn't changing cutlery I would rather change the color of lamps to more warmer light. use of very strong aromatic substances for disinfection in combination with a high inside temperature... They made 4000 rur deposit, but there was not mini bar in our room. Stuff said us twice that we have to leave our room.
