  I arrived by train and by taking Bus number 22 I have arrived at the Hotel an hour after. I had a very warm welcome from Alexander who explained to me all about the Hotel and the area.The room was very nice bed very comfortable and a nice warm bathroom. There was a small buffet Breakfast and staff was again very attentive. All Reception staff was ... what people say » very polite and always with a smile(I am sorry I can't recall their names). I totally recommend this Hotel. - I found there everything I needed - a working shower in a huge warm- floore (surprise!) bathroom, warm well furnitured room with a bottle of water for free (surprise!) and it was a real pleasure to have a cup of tea in bed, not in dining room (I asked the receptionist and he allowed me to take it from the ground floor) in the evening. The breakfast is wery reach.

  Unlike the majority of hostels in SPb, Giggly hostel is recently renovated and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There is a place next door where you can have a cheap meal. Moreover, it's easy to go to Peterhof from the hostel - the bus stop(Baltiysky vokzal), it will take you only 10 min on foot to get to the bus stop. - The hostel... what people say » was easy to find and not far from the metro. When I arrived, there were two very friendly women who spoke excellent English who showed me around. At about £14 a night for the 8 bed dorm it was excellent value, especially as I picked a quiet time and didn't have to share! Clean everywhere and free tea is always a bonus!
